Tonight will be bittersweet for many of us. There will be closure, as we never had in Firefly (until Joss managed to get out Serenity.) But it's come too soon. The time-line was planned as a 5 season progression that we will never experience. Still, it has been quite a ride and I for one applaud all that Joss and Company have managed to give us these past two seasons.
It's one year after Epitaph One and...well, I'll let you find out on your own.
Enjoy, comment, share. One last time.

" Eventually I didn't care that Boyd turned out to be a bad guy, but I was pissed that he kidnapped Whiskey and made her evil." yes, I felt so so sorry for poor doctor saunders/whisky, becaue what boyd did to her really made her loose her mind, and possibly suicide in epitaph 1

Buffy season 8 on television could work

There could be a season 8 for Buffy on televison picking up right after after Angel ended. I think that I have figured out how to do it. That Buffy was in an alternative universe caused by an evil Willow just like The Wish. Then there would be no sister and Joyce would still be alive. That Xander would have both eyes. Anya would be alive. Xander and Anya are married. Also, Joyce could marry Giles. I would love to see Buffy turn to the camera and say did you miss me like in season 2. The possibilites are endless and believable.

I say Whiskey was. She is prettier and even as Claire and with the scars, I liked her character a lot better. When she left during the 2nd season for those few episodes I got so upset I almost stopped watching. I could really have cared less about Echo. :)

A Faith spinoff could also work taking up right after Angel ended. Joss Whedon should do it . It would need a pilot episode and use the story arc format. It could include most of the scooby gang. I do not know about Willow. Maybe occassionally. Also, Buffy should appear on the show. It could produced by Fox even if it is to be on another network. Hopefully in the fall.

I DVRed the finale so I could watch it over and over again. And each time I finish I cry. I think Dollhouse was unfairly judged by many. I mean my dad ever kept saying it was about human prostitution and he wouldn't watch that crap. While there were aspects of that Dollhouse was so much more. And only a person who hasn't seen the show would say that crap. Sorry Dad. The show was about innovation, brilliance, and technology. It was about strength, love and hope. I loved this show. And I'm so sad its over. Two Seasons wasn't enough.

I would love to see the continuation of the story of the characters from Buffy continuing right after the Angel finale. I would like to see the return of the same actors reprising their roles in a new season of Buffy. They are not too old. It should be targeted for an older audience. It would work better if the traditional romances are carried forward and the untradional romances are dropped. I would like to see Giles get married and see the effects that marriage has on being a watcher. I would love to see a retrun of Willow and Oz. I would not like the Ripper series to be a BBC version of the CBS series the Ghost Whisperer. Also, it should follow the same story arc format that worked perfectly for seven years on Buffy. It could be produced by Fox yet maybe shown on another network. It needs more than thirteen episodes for a full season. If it is called Buffy the Vampire Slayer season eight then it would not need a pilot episode.

I think we would all to see Buffy come back. Lets face it though - it never will. The origional actors are all now involved in new projects. Plus, we already have a season 8 - the comic books. That is the only way the continuation will happen. If Buffy ever returns to TV it will be like the V series - it will be a remake with new actors. Color me uninterested.

krwilson86@yahoo.com" I just checked the Fox.com site and apparently only episodes 10-13 seem to be available any more, unless it's my mistake. Nevertheless, you can easily download all the episodes you want, specially from Megaupload or Hotfile servers. With a good enough internet connection, it's possible to download each episode, on 350Mb files, in under 20 minutes. Try this: Go to a site called Filestube.com, which is a files search engine. Search, for example, for "dollhouse s02e01 megaupload" or "dollhouse s02e01 hotfile" ("s02" stands for "season 2", and "e01" stands for "episode 1") and try the links. Go for the 350Mb files for optimal quality. Absolutely no payment, registration or membership is required. All plain and simple direct download. Only limitations are that you can only download about 1Gb per hour on Megaupload or one file at a time on Hotfile.

This is a message for the executives at Fox Television. American Broadcast television viewers could follow a first season with only thirteen epsiodes for scripted programming. However for season 2 we need at least 26 episodes for scripoted programming because the viewers think that it enables the writers to have more time to develop their characters. Also, it gives the actors more time to get familar with the character they are protraying. In the past we had the pilot season. Also, in the past American television series always had at least 26 episodes for a season. That was the pattern for American Broadcast televison for years. Having only thirteen episodes for a second season is too rushed for the writers, actors, and the viewers. The writers, actors, and the viewers need time to care about the characters that viewers are seeing week after week. Also, it works better financially for the syndication market which are called reruns.

It's truly a shame that this show was cancelled when it was. But at this point, the storyline is resolved, almost every character is accounted for. Someday this show will be rediscovered on DVD and more people than ever will be watching it.

I think that Hollow Man and Epitaph Two. worked in a number of ways of being beleivable but not for Dollhouse. Instead I could picture the series Buffy the Vampire series instead. I could see Eliza Dushku as Faith. I could picture Harry Lenix working for the initative, Tahmoh Penkett and Enver Gjokaj working for the intiative. I saw Miracle Laurie as a slayer, with Olivia Williams as her watcher. I could picture Fran Kanz and Summer Glau as a couple. I could see Fran Kanz as maybe being related to Warren, Andrew , or Jonathan. Also, I could see Dichen Lichen as a slayer and not part of the intiative. I could see Alan Tudyk as being evil. He remined me of an American version of Ethan Rayne. The only thing that I had trouble picturing was the year 2020.

I'm sorry if all of you Joss groupies are offended by this, but so be it. Joss should consider another career or write shows exclusively for MTV, CW or some other second rate teen oriented network. Or perhaps just come up with the concept and sell it outright and end his involvement in the progression of the series. Plenty of other writers do it and the series do well, I can understand wanting to shape the story arc but we can't all be JMS (J. Michael Straczynski). Better still he should write shows targeted solely at teen/20 something audiences and leave all scfi and horror themes out of it because frankly with the exception of Dollhouse, he sucks at it. I'm sorry I don't like Sesame Street Nerfed vampires, bad line spewing space cowboys, green demons that sing through their nose (RIP), and assorted bad guys that are about as menacing as a busload of six year olds on a sugar high. If I didn't know better (although I could be wrong) I'd swear Joss inspired the brooding effeminate eunuchs that pass for vampires in Moonlight, come on folks lets elevate our level of scifi/horror before they believe that teenage girls with a proclivity for effiminate boys with Duran Duran hair and guyliner are the core audience of the genre. Now I'll admit I enjoyed Serenity for its overall storyline, but the characters save River were just as lame as they were in the in the mercifully short lived series of Firefly which would have never made to the air at Fox if it weren't for the new(never should have been hired) head of programming at Fox who loved JW enough to give Dark Angel the axe after it had already been renewed for a third season. Had he sold it to WB it probably would have lasted more than a season as that was where most of JW's fanbase lurked anyway. I gave Dollhouse a shot and loved it, finally grown up characters and themes, the first season was great then things went terribly awry....

Boyd is the evil mystery CEO? Yeah that wasn't a pathetic last minute decision for shock value that did nothing for the storyline unless you were to explain that it was merely an imprint of the person in Boyd. That would at least explain Boyd's flip flopping sense of morality. The mole feeding Ballard info is never revealed, it wasn't Dominic as he had other motives for keeping the dollhouse open. The tech will lead to the apocalypse? Sure if you sell it at Walmart, but if you're the ultimate evil corp you control it, and I don't buy the idea that the tech is out there and can't be undone, who outside of Rossum and their clients know of it? You don't have to make topher's miracle wipe and should someone steal the tech, wipe em, problem solved. The apocalpse can't be stopped, bull, don't make the weapons. With the tech they could easily rule the world, reprogram world leaders, yet there goal is to rule the wasteland??? Please that's the lamest plot I've ever heard of, spend billions creating the most powerful corporation in the world, create Senators to cover your misdeeds and consolidate your power just so you can wipe everyone and turn the whole world into a third world hellhole, sounds like a demotion to me. How to run a business into the ground 101. Too many dropped plot points and far too many inconsistancies to even call this a wrap up. Joss and crew just threw this one off a cliff, should have scrapped this episode and left off with The hollow men, then they could have wrapped up the story with some dignity in direct to DVD releases. At least they could have cashed in on DVD sales like Stargate and given the viewers a plausible story. My sphincter's sore and they didn't bring the lube, never should've trusted JW.

I think that only Joss Whedon should direct the new Buffy movie! It should follow right after Not Fade away from Angel. I would rather see the scooby gang together again with the same actors reprising their roles. I do not think that they are too old. I would like the Buffy/Angel saga to continue the adventures. However, I would rather have it be on television instead. Also, it could be titled Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 8. The only thing is that I would leave out Dawn and Connor. Instead would have a Anya twin, fix Xanders eye, include Faith, Spike, Cordelia, Oz, and have some of the actors from Dollhouse appear as new characters in the Buffyverse. I could see Harry Lenix work for the initative or the watchers council. Diechen Liechen work for the initiative or be a slayer. Franz Kanz being related to either Jonathan, Warren, or Andrew. Summer Glau as a girlfriend for Franz Kanz's character. Olivia Williams being a watcher. Enver Gjokaj and Tahmoh Penkett as members of the intiative. I could picture Miracle Laurie as a Slayer. I could see Alan Tudyk being an American relative of Ethan Rayne Also, I would like to have Giles and Ethan Rayne appear together again. Any television network I think would love to continue the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. Also, I think that after seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Five Angel seasons the formula was successfull. This is what I hope that Joss Whedon's new project will be is the continuation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It should be on the Fox network lineup in the fall.

I just watched the series finale of Dollhouse. SO DISAPPOINTING!! The fact that FOX made this a 1 hour finale and not a 2 hour finale like they did with the other last few episodes is retarded! Why would you do that?!? FOX was in a rush to get this show out the door with this one. It's also mind boggling that they were in such a rush to get rid of 'Terminator-The Sarah Connor Chronicles' to showcase 'Dollhouse'....only to end it like THAT ?!?!?!?!? That is what really pisses me off. Look, "Dollhouse' was just starting to grow on me, I wasn't a big fan, but if you're going to end a show like this..DO IT RIGHT GODDAMMIT! The ending blows, and I hope the great actors like Eliza Dushku realize that maybe FOX really aren't the right people to work with when creating any kind of TV show. Also, JOSS WHEDON should start righting shows for the SYFY channel. JOSS, I'm sure they will pay you a hell of a lot more than what FOX gave you, AND, they will let you do it right. FOX SHOULD LEAVE SCI-FI TO SYFY!
