Joss Whedon's Terminator
Nov 4 2009, 9:34 PM EST
Hasta la vista...er, maybe not. If Joss actually wrote the open letter, not only is it a spoof of the whole Hollywood "rights" charade, but it is a spoof of Joss...and a bad one at that. I can absolutely see Joss spoofing himself, but with a bit more finesse. The writing style is not his nor is the "approach" used in the spoof. Funny, yes. Joss, no. At least in my mind. Do you find this valuable?

Yes, it was definitely him who wrote it, with tongue firmly placed in cheek. I thought it was funny and loved his little dig at Christian Bale's Batman voice. Do you find this valuable? |

Wanted to get us wondering if he really had written the piece? Do you find this valuable? |

I can definitely see Joss pulling something like that off. Joss is a brilliant writer and the team he puts together with writing and acting can not be denied to be totally awesome. It's just to bad that so many of Joss endeavors, outside of Buffy and Angel, have been canceled after only one or two seasons. The Terminator idea might be a stretch even for Joss, but I know he probably could actually do it. Just hoping now that the Fox network doesn't become complete idiots and cancel one of Joss more astounding shows yet"Dollhouse". I love the way he always keeps you guessing with every little twist and turn, and just when you think you got it figured out another twist around the corner. Maybe it's time for Joss to think about buying Fox or starting his network station to air his fantastic shows.

Maybe he just wrote it quickly as a little joke without thinking it would spread like wildfire on the Web? Do you find this valuable? |
