Anyone who can cross media as flawlessly as Joss has is awesome! I can honestly saw it is all Joss's fault for me getting into comic books. Do you find this valuable?

HELL'S YES. Joss will be the only person who can get me to watch a horror movie in theaters.

Aw, come on now. What about James Gunn?

Also, has anyone been keeping up with the Angel comic book series? The most recent issue was spotchy, but for the most part it has been AMAZING. Buffy Season 8 is... okay--eh, kinda entertaining and has potential to get good as it goes on, but Angel... Wow oh wow.

See, I've been the complete opposite. I like the Angel comics, but the Buffy's I've been completely immersed in. Even the not-so-great issues.

I don't think bluesun was outright condemning horror movies, just the aspect of seeing them in the theater. Which I can agree with. The only horror movies that will get me to shell out 10 bucks for an uncomfortable seat and sticky floor are either from people I trust (e.g. Joss, James Gunn as you noted, Neil Marshall) or are 100% guaranteed to be entertaining on some level (My Bloody Valentine... best worst movie I've ever seen, next to Blackjack starring Dolph Lundgren)

I LOVE the comics, but must admit I have fallen really behind. I don't have a comic book store where I live, which means I have to buy the Buffy ones at Barnes and Noble and they always come out like three weeks late. The Angel ones I have to buty online which means they cost like $6 a pop and I just haven't bought them in a while. I need to... I've been buying the Buffys... just haven't read them... I'll do that this weekend and get back to you. Although, I agree with wil: I LOVE the Buffys and like the Angels.

And I just can't watch horror movies in theaters. A theater's too big and in my face to be watching a horror movie in, and I don't have a pillow to clutch to and/or hide behind. I need to be in my home. Yeah... kind of a wuss...
