so you know how there is always that little snippet of a techno song at then end of the show when they do the "coming up next episode"/sneak-peak thing (when they tell you what to expect next episode)? well, i would very much like to know the name of the song that produced that little techno snipet and the artist that performs it. it just gets stuck in my head and i love it soooo much.

i'll describe it, if that helps. it's really edgy, your sorta no nonsense techno. and it's always there in the sneak peak/end credits, being really intense and such.

whoever finds this, i will give a link to an awesome picture of something!!!! =]

I would head over to adtunes.com who have an active forum that researches just these things, for commercials, shows and movies. Better yet, if you can find a youtube vid that includes the snippet, the research goes much faster. Adtunes is probably one of the larger sources of new music that I decide I love after hearing a bit on a commercial or show.

Good luck!

Here’s the scoop on the Dollhouse theme song. Jonatha Brooke and Eric Bazilian collaborated on a theme song. The song is called, “What You Don’t Know.” Brooke writes on her website that Joss also used her song “Inconsolable” on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

These seem to be the lyrics for the song:

What you don’t know won’t hurt you
Maybe the lies are true
Try to remember
Try to forget
Though yesterday’s bleeding through

You’ll never see me coming
You’ll never know my name
Try to remember
Try to forget
But you’ll never be the same

I could do anything
I could go anywhere
I could be anything
For anyone
Tonight

I could do anything
I could go anywhere
I could be anything
For anyone
Tonight

I’m already going
I’m already gone
There’s a stranger in my place

You’ll never find me
But I’ll never run
Because the angels know my face

There's a video out on the net with the singing this to clips of the show, but Fox has been yanking it from sites for copyright infringement. I would be interested if there is any place to find it legally. Do you find this valuable?

I don't watch the end before the preview for the next week so I'm not sure... but here's a compilation of the songs used so far. Maybe it's snuck in or will be posted in the future?
ETA the link: That might help huh. :D
