ALPHA'S PLANS FOR ECHO
Feb 25 2009, 8:43 AM EST | Post edited: Feb 25 2009, 8:43 AM EST
We don't know why alpha let echo live. We don't know if he is rougue or workign for someone else. What I can guess though is that he deliberaely staged last episode so Echo would grow. The hunter made the gesture saying 'shoulder to the wheel prove your more than just an echo'. When the jerk called her a nonperson at the end, she made the same gesture. When her handler told her everything is alright, she resisted saying no. She decided to rise to the challenge, realizing that even if she has the right to live, she has to fight for it. Their is a saying: The soul does not record memory, it records growth. In spite of being stripped of the memory of this event, the lesson leanred from it has imprinted on a deeper level than the dollhouse can reach. That may have been Alpha's plan. Alpha somehow knows that Echo has the potential to grow, to become more self-aware, to perhaps succeed where he failed and not go crazy. He planned this so her true self would grow from this experience. Perhaps he is hoping she will grow strong enough to escape, rebel, or perform some other plan he has. Nevertheless that is what his plans for her are for the present moment. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Alpha definitely intends for Echo to grow and become self-aware. All his actions in her regard point to that fact. I think that Alpha believes that the awakened Echo will be a kindred spirit. Nothing will be further from the truth. Echo will likely pity Alpha for the damage done to that man, but she will never join him in his murderous, psychotic ways.

Paul will meet Echo. There will be sparks, and probably fists. Somewhere in there love will probably grow--fitfully, between mindwipes and engagements. Star-crossed lovers. Very bitter sweet.

The possibility that Echo is accumulating aspects of previous personalities is an interesting twist. It is clear that the memory wipes are not working completely, which will be interesting to see the effect on Echo with multiple personality disorder. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Maybe Alpha is looking for a mate and sees Echo as a potential mate. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Do you think Alpha killed the other dolls to free them from being slaves? Do you find this valuable?

My opinion is possibly really wrong but i recong Alpha was the the guy taking the film of Caroline when they were in school or some past lover and he joined the program to get her out and now that he's free he's trying to reawaken her. Do you find this valuable?

I think Alpha sees Echo's potential to do what he did and access skills from imprints, and he kept her alive because (as stated above) she is a kindred spirit, but I think that he sent that psycho after her to test her to see if she is as strong as him and that he killed the dolls because he felt they were weak, if he were helping them, why would he feel the need to kill those people (presumably Caroline's parents) when he got her photo and video? if he knew her he wouldn't kill her parents Do you find this valuable?

10. RE: ALPHA'S PLANS FOR ECHO; APHA IS ECHO?

Someone think in possibility of Alpha be Echo? Alpha was referred as male, but when it comes to psychological issues, many surprises can appear, similar to the Fight Club movie or videogame Xenogears? So much mystery surrounding the actor that makes Alpha, there is a reason for that? how the doctor reacts when Alpha is always mentioned and also when she looks at Echo is the same?
