Here's an interesting (albeit short) interview with Eliza about the new Friday time slot:

You know, as soon as i got exited about dollhouse i was waiting for Fox to screw it up. Despite the time slot i am determined to be optimistic about the show.

I think if anything is putting it in danger it's not Fox its this rep as a doomed show. I already know someone who was going to watch it who isn't anymore because they dont want to get into a show that seems sure to be cancelled and that even the fans dont believe in. As far as I'm concerned the sooner we all break out of this doom and gloom mind set the better the show will do, because it's putting off potential fans.

Yeah, I'm getting really annoyed with any mention of it in the press as "the troubled Dollhouse." I mean, most new shows do reshoots and undergo retooling. The media just tells people too much about behind-the-scenes stuff now!

I haven't heard anything about dollhouse that sounds any worse than minor teething problems. Everyone was just so ready for Fox to kill the show that every tiny hiccup is causing panic. Did you read the sci-fi wire article about all the reasons the show is doomed? it was so negative if I was not a big whedon fan just someone thinking of watching dollhouse and i read that i wouldn't bother with the show.

One of the things they said was that there were no funny quotes in the promo...i was like, duh that's because they're explaining a premise more complex than Buffy while setting the tone. A goofy quip wouldn't have fit in the promo. By the end of the article i was frowning so hard i think i gave myself some premature wrinkles lol.

Just the fact that people are talking about it so much should be promising, as I'm sure there are plenty of upcoming shows that we haven't even heard about in the media... and that don't have full-fledged fan sites devoted to them before they even start!
