Maybe she was once a doll and got them on a mission that went wrong. if that was right she may not even know that's how it happened as they can remove memories and add false ones. Of course im terrible at predicting these things so im probably wrong lol.

Could it have been done by the Dollhouse people themselves? maybe as a warning? since dr claire is meant to be quite sympathetic to the dolls I can see her maybe (if boyd's worry about the dolls not all being volintary is correct) trying to help one escape or help a dolls family find them. The dollhouse is a very shady corp. so I can see them doing that as punishment/warning. It would explain why she is supposed to be introverted at work, she could be afraid.And Ashera, I dont think you're so bad at predicting these things, your idea is really good. I can totally see them having a former doll working for them, coz the less people who know about the dollhouse the less likely it is to be found out. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

if it was the dollhouse owners/managers who did that to her do you think Adelle knows/was involved? that would make for some pretty intense interactions between her and Dr. Claire saunders.And if it turns out that for once one of my predictions was right, do you think she just was a doll, or is she still under their control? what I mean is, since they can give you abilities once she had been injured on the job so couldn't be an active doll anymore instead of hiring a doctor did they just programme a doctor's personality/memories into her? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Hi Ashera, I just watched the show and I think that you are probably right. but I think if she was a Doll it is possible that it's her preference to let her scars remain since the company she worked for has the capabilty to remove them which would lead us to the question as to why she chose to be that way.

Hm. Interesting ideas. I'm not sure. I did think the blonde guy, the Dolls programer, he seemed to take an extra interest in her. I wonder why that was?

how ever her character got those scare we can only guess and make wild conjecture to their origin. I figure that we will learn soon enough as the show progresses as to how she got them.

I used to think th 'former doll' idea was a good one but as more info has leaked the impression I have is that she was attacked by Alpha, which is a shame because I actually think the idea that she used to be a doll is more interesting.Apparently we will find out in the early episodes what happened to her, which is also a shame because that would have added some intrigue. I kind of feel like they are wasting the character's potential by not only having such a simple explination but by giving it away so soon. Still, the pilot was amazing and though I still feel they missed the potential of this character a little I still think the show is great. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Alpha might not be a far off guess. It could have been a writing or wipe gone wrong. Kinda like how those soliders went off their rockers in Universal Solider (for those that have seen it).

I like the still-a-doll idea. It opens up so much for that character, even future missions. I mean, 'engagements.' Once a doll, always a doll? If Topher programmed her, why wouldn't he be interested in her? He probably made her the way he likes it (timid and seemingly pliant? eeeww).As for exactly how she got those scars? I don't want to dwell on the specifics. But perhaps she was a truly voluntary volunteer and wanted to be wiped permanently of the memories of how it happened. Do you find this valuable? |
