C'mon, there has to be at least a few complex relationships doomed for misery on a Whedon series! :P"i'm expecting some really twisted programmed relationships... i guess Adelle would find all manners of use for a un-willing victor to relieve her loneliness.... but besides imprinted ones... my guess is Topher and Claire will be strange and interesting mix in the beginning. Paul and Echo will probably take some time to develop. Also, Miracle Laurie has this new role as a FBI-agent in love with Paul, but since we don't know what her character will be like, it's hard to predict the misery-level of it. :) maybe Paul has enough misery shipwise (divorce and all...) for both of them. and for the jackpot: Alpha is in love with Boyd! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Alpha will be in love with Echo. Paul gets to know Echo and shifts his emotions from sympathy and fear to admiration and gradually to love. So we will have a love triangle here.Clare will have negative feelings toward Topher because they have very different perspective, but Topher admires Clare's passion and devotion, and he secretly agrees with her. Adelle is freakishly lonely and ready to use anyone for her advantage, but it will only make her more lonely and miserable because she's the one pertending not the active. Thus her saying: "An active is the truest soul among us". Boyd loves Adelle. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Paul is already half in love with Echo. All that is required is for the blossoming Echo to become intrigued through close encounters with the FBI agent during a mission or two, find that she remembers him to some extent even after wiping, and determine she will come to know the man. Talk about star-crossed lovers--if they even get to that stage! I'm already thinking that Paul will help Echo with the "Alpha problem", not necessarily save her though. Assist her. Echo is going to become a very strong personality during the course of this show. I believe that Paul could be drawn into uneasy collaboration with Dollhouse by finding out that simply abducting her for "deprogramming" would likely destroy the new person emerging between wipes. I can even see Echo (really, Caroline, or whoever the new emerging personality is) forming attachments inside Dollhouse and being reluctant to simply disappear with Paul. They must save them all! And with each mind wipe, Echo's plan is set back just a little, heartbreaking bit. And think of Paul suffering the knowledge of what is happening to his beloved! That is surely some meat for Tahmoh to sink his teeth into... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

there has to be some connection between echo and alpha (he is carrying around a video of her, and he didn't kill her or even hurt her while he killed everyone else in the shower during the flashback in ep 2).maybe they knew each other before they were brought into the program? maybe they had a fake relationship while they were on assignment somewhere, and when all his previous imprets combined he remembers that relationship. i think he found the guy in ep 2 who later became the client and pushed him into it. i think alpha wanted to put echo in a life and death situation which would trigger her memories (which we saw did happen). maybe to bring her closer to him? or the memory of him perhaps?? we even know he was there on the mountain with them because he killed the 2nd guy involved. perhaps he was around to ensure she was pushed enough to remember, but to interveen if she was in any danger. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I doubt it would happen, but I think Clare and Paul would be very, very interesting. And you know, the way people bounced off each other and into other people's arms on Angel, it's not totally out of the realm of possibility. But, like most Whedon romances, it would be fraught with difficulty and/or explode in a dramatic fashion.

Oh yeah! So I guess duh, Victor and Sierra big time... ewww bad word. Then you have some foreshadow sparks possibly between Dr. Saunders and Boyd, though seems somewhat likely that Boyd and Echo could have a thing... no no no nnnn no. Scratch the Boyd and Echo, suddenly got flashes of incest, very bad. Definitely Mellie and Paul, no doubt about it.

Dude. I must be the only person who likes it but... Echo/Topher. Not while she's a doll granted- but when she starts remembering who "Caroline" is. But that'll prolly be a while. Do you find this valuable? |

I think Alpha already has feelings for Claire. I don't think she's the inside "man", so the only reason he'd leave her alive, but disfigure her anyway, is to allay suspicion in her direction. If he left her alive after killing all the other staff and dolls (except Echo) he'd have to do something to her to show she didn't help him escape.Do you find this valuable? |

SPOILERS FOR "SPY IN THE HOUSE OF LOVE"Well, my favorite hopefully doomed relationship was Paul/Mellie, which officially got DOOMED in last night's ep. My other fave was Adelle/Dominic, which also got doomed. So I don't know where I stand right now. Do you find this valuable? |

I still can't figure out where any relations could go in the show. except maybe Topher and the Ivy developing a thing. After look what Victor/Roger said to Topher.

LaurencexEcho -doomed.PaulxMellie -doomed. TopherxClaire -doomed (I just know it). VictorxSierra -doomed (c'mon, they're in the Dollhouse. They keep getting wiped too). Recently am fascinated with: Adelle/Victor -doomed. Alpha/Claire -......doomed. And winner takes all....Joel MynorxEcho! Because Patton Oswalt played his character so well and so sadly (and bitterly). Yes, I sail on ghosts ships. But crack ships are the awesomeness. Because canon is so overrated. Do you find this valuable? |
