Question about Paul and Echo!!!!
Okay, for anyone who watches the extras or the Comic-Con, etc. When Tahmoh (Paul Ballard) messed up the very first shooting of the show, saying "wallhouse" instead of "dollhouse", he's talking to Echo. Have we seen that episode, with those two together? I know we've seen the one where she beats the crap out of him in the kitchen/alleyway.
Did we already see this clip of them together? I know in the outtake, paul says "Where'd you hear about 'wall' house, and then he sets some keys down.

Any comments on this?" More than one person in these threads has mentioned this. Echo is becoming much more aware in her "between" state. She is no longer a blank slate. She clearly distrusts and dislikes Security Dweeb, as I call him. She will reveal nothing in front of him or his people. Whether she will trust anyone in Dollhouse, other than Boyd, her handler, remains to be seen.

Who's the better Doll, Whiskey or Echo?
Echo is the better Doll overall (which is what this thread I think was supposed to be about). Whiskey knows she's a Doll simply from logic of what she found out and put together. She's isn't aware of herself, like Echo. Echo is still a Doll and slowly becoming aware of it, retaining personalities, skills, memories, and knowledge of who she originally was. Claire only knows she's a Doll because she found out by what she read, she doesn't retain any imprint residue or any real awareness or of who her original person was.

Echo(Eliza) is so cute when she's ...
"I'm waiting for the moment when she DOESN'T say, "Did I fall asleep?" It's got to happen eventually..." Actually, that is the running thread in the series. I believe Joss intends for it to always be there, but often altered in some way in delivery, just as we've seen in some of the episodes so far. It is also a trigger phrase that is built into the wipe proceedure. If we don't see it, it would olnly be because we do not see the end phase of a wipe. Note that in Gray Hour, Echo says it after she is remotely wiped and the strange surroundings coupled with the lack of correct response from her compatriots ("For a little while." "Should I go now?" "If you like.") sends her into near catatonia.
When Echo does not say that essential phrase it will mark the moment when she is free of the wipe proceedure and remembers, if not everything, a lot of what has been going on. A very dangerous moment for our gal.

The Buffy thread
Ok, so I mentioned in another thread I watched Season 1 and found it cheesy. I've now watched the first 4 episodes of season 2. It is getting a little better. Here are my observations though:
1) A 241 year old Vampire stalking a 16 year-old girl/slayer. Is it just me or does Angel need to be on one of those Dateline Online Predator specials??
2) I'm not big on how they portray the vampires. Ok, I've only seen one episode with Spike and I like him so far. Why do the other vampires have to be complete morons though? Also, in the episode Buffy throws a chair at Spike and it knocks him down. I thought Vamps were supposed to be stronger/more agile. Heck, I could've dodged that chair and I'm an out of shape 36 year old man. :P
3) I still found the jokes (with a few exceptions) unfunny and juvenile.
Don't get me wrong. It is not my intention to knock Buffy or it's fans. I really, really WANT to like this show. I know someone said it takes until mid season 2 to get going. I'm going to give it the rest of the season before giving up on it. Any thoughts from you Buffy fans?

I think a lot of those people who say she is a bad actress will soon be running out of feet to eat, especially as the show progresses. I loved the Alpha flash backs. I was surprised to find out that Echo is, in fact, not new to the Dollhouse. And in another thread it was pointed out that the neighbor of Ballard (the FBI guy) might be a doll, which I think would be a cool twist.

"Woot! New Dollhouse stuff to talk about!
On the surface, I am not really excited about the premise of this episode. The stuff I really care about has nothing to do with the "imprint of the week" stuff. I am hoping that the imprint will be used to show us more about the bigger story and that they give lots of time to the subplots. I am hoping its not a sleeper episode that acts as a placeholder between the intense epys.
BUT YAY! New Dollhouse! My Barbies and Kens are ready to play!" Same here. The fact that Echo must solve her own "murder" bores me. The fact that Paul is going to find out more about November and Topher prepping Sierra for an Engagement without Adelle's consent has me excited, WAY EXCITED. I'm just going to see if the concept of the latest imprint has anything to do with the Dollhouse's true purpose. And if Travis, Echo's new Handler, is going to die.
