Save Dollhouse
I'm sure if you're reading this you're a fan of science fiction, what I'm not sure of is if you're aware of the great show Dollhouse, filled with original ideas, exciting moments, and stunning performances. Unfortunately it appears it's on the cusp of being cancelled. As fellow science fiction fans, I'm sure you agree that there's too little of the genre on the TV as it is. Please email the following letter with your signature and email address to:-
* If you're a Twitter user, tweet @FoxBroadcasting. * If you want to email, email askfox@fox.com * If you're on Facebook, join the FOX Facebook group and post a message.
" Heading: Continuing Dollhouse
Dear Sir\Madam
I am writing to you as regards your program Dollhouse and to congratulate you on your nerve in trying out such an innovative program. This clearly shows FOX takes risks that other networks would balk at. Conversely, it would be a shame for this program be canceled as it falters at the first hurdle. It would be difficult for me to readily get behind a program launch of yours in the future, simply because I would be wary of having my hopes raised and being enticed by a program only to be disappointed by its early cancellation.
If you give it another thirteen episode run in the fall, I am sure viewing figures will grow as word of mouth accumulates. I am sure you have received many of these emails, indicating the depth of feeling of 'Dollhousers,' all vocal supporters of both the program and your bravery in giving such an unusual program a shot. Not to mention it will save the time, effort, and energy of developing a new project for an under the contract actress who worked exceptionally hard to promote the show's first season.
Thank you for your time and patience in reading this email, and I hope I find you in good health.
Yours Sincerely,

Save the Dollhouse!!!
Sorry if anyone's already mentioned this, but what about doing a campaign centered on the advertiser/sponsors of Dollhouse? Kind of like the TSCC "Sarah Connor Made Me Do It" campaign:
It's a pool of images of fans with objects that were advertised during the show with the caption "X made me do it," in order to convince advertisers (and the network) that it's profitable to keep the show going.
Perhaps we should do something similar for Dollhouse?

Dollhouse Season 2!
Dollhouse is an incredibly great, cool and new show. I have never seen anything like this show which makes it soooooo unique. I love the dollhouse and i spend my friday nights watching this incredible show. I have heard rumors that Dollhouse may not be returning for a second season. We have the power to change this, if you really love Dollhouse like i do and u love Eliza Dushku then we need to make sure there is a second season. Dollhouse is only in its first season so we can really expect the best ratings, if there is a second season we can persuade people to watch it and bring in more viewers. I feel lik this shows is starting off as the way Buffy The Vampire Slayer did, began mid-season with not so high ratings, returned for a second season to score amazing ratings, this is what Dollhouse needs and we have to make it happen. So all members of this site and fans of dollhouse please try to contact FOX and tell them Dollhouse just needs time to create the best show and bring in more viewers! post comments!

Firefly x Dollhouse
Now you're going to make me laugh, eri_quin! You should write a story and put it up as fan fiction. Two universes collide and Firefly meets Dollhouse, or at least the characters meet. Could be fun. I wonder if Simon would gravitate more to Boyd as Echo's protector or Claire as the doctor and one most concerned for all of the dolls. I'm thinking doctor-doctor. Simon would probably be tempted to use the imprint process on River, hoping for improvement (though that would be pre-Serenity days, since she seemed fully able by the end of that movie!) All sorts of morality issues with SImon wrestling with cooperating with Dollhouse and gaining aid, or resisting the whole process and losing the opportunity. Would Kaylee be fascinated by Topher's technology enough to ignore his amorality? And how would Wash react to the wunderkind?
So, yeah, you've got me thinking...

Fan Fiction (or fact or something else entirely)
I enter a building nearly every morning and stay there until 4pm. There are others there. I wonder if they know who they are. The same way I know who I am. Does the thing you do for your paycheck make that who you are? Do you check your mind at the door? Or could you actually become the simple android that people look at you as. As my boss treats me. I forget who made the choice first. Did he assume I was simple minded or did I act that way because he thought I was?
Once clocked in, I head to the dairy cooler, where my day truly begins amid the sound of cool air pumping through 36 (or more) fans. Milk needs filled. Then some mopping done. After that I zone. I react, but it feels like an act. There are daydreams. Flashes of my past. I wrote three plays in college. Two of them were fully produced. I listen to more than one genre of music. I read both fiction and non-fiction books. So, is it bothersome in anyway, that what is on the inside doesn't matter in this 'house?' My experience can make me me to some degree, but in a building so big it feels like its' own city sometimes, only the present counts. And the next workday.
Even my peers I'm not always sure about. They are more friendly than some. We even seem to relate at times. Yet the social construction of friendships based purely on the amount of time spend in the same location as each other should make us more than strangers and less than friends. Yet I watch people interact as if they know everything about the other. During cigarette breaks, when you listen to the conversation of others, the word I is used so constantly it might be a mantra. I did this and yesterday this happened to me. Perhaps if you forget to speak such words you do loose most of, if not all of, you.
The dollhouse has a symbol. So does Walmart. Where I work.
Did I fall asleep?
