From The Target, Dollhouse Ep. 2 New element(s): Boyd, Echo's handler finds it distasteful and is hesitant at first with the trust issue between Doll and handler...he see Dolls as emptyheaded and blank. Echo without hesitation tells him she trusts him with her life when asked by Boyd during an imprint that he is told he must be not only present for, but hold her hand.

Revelation(s): In The Target, after Echo is and hunted like an animal, and Boyd gets seriously injured by an arrow in the side shot by Richard, it is Echo that asks Boyd if he trusts her. And he does, with his life. He gives her a weapon to defend herself and ultimately both of them with. A bond is forming between the two. Even with the insanity of her mind's walls breaking down with hallucinations of reality and imprint melding together from the drugged water she consumed, she saves them both from a psychotic killer who managed to get past the background check done.
