Meanwhile, Mellie's life is in danger and Agent Ballard's investigation takes a surprising turn when he comes face-to-face and goes fist to-fist with Echo for the very first time.

  • Who operated as Echo's handler during the Ballard setup engagement? Boyd was on 48 hour active suspension at the time.
  • What is the true purpose of the Dollhouses?

BEST MOMENTS
  • Mellie responds to a coded command from Adelle, calmly defends herself from her attacker and kills him, then reverts to her normal personality who's terrified.
  • Echo sends the message to Agent Ballard in their encounter behind the restaurant and shows him the Dollhouse is much more than just them.
  • Adelle admires a watercolor that Echo is painting. Echo says that it isn't finished. Adelle asks Echo if she means the picture, and Echo simply says, "It isn't finished." Then Adelle asks her if she would like it to be finished. Cut scene to Rebecca arriving at the Internet mogul's first house, the one that the real Rebecca never had a chance to see. The assignment is what really was not finished.

Wow. Talk about creating expectations. This was one of the best segments of any series ever. We have so much to look forward to now, the only downside is the worry that no one, not even Joss, can keep this level up. I remember so many series that promised the moon and ended up disappointing in the final episode. Time will tell....

Contrary to this page, I've seen someone who's read the scripts saying this one was written by Joss, while Stage Fright was written by Maurissa and Jed.
