Eliza on 'Spider-Man 4' Rumors 11/19/09
Recently, MTV's Splash Page asked Eliza Dushku about rumors that she might star in "Spider-Man 4" as Black Cat. It seems like every ingénue in Hollywood has been linked to role at some point. Eliza doesn't seem opposed to taking the part and she's certainly flattered by the fans' attention.
Here, she comments on the Internet hype:
What do you think? Would she be good for the role?

Joss to Animate Buffy's Season 8 11/17/09
I know we're still licking our wounds and mourning the loss of Dollhouse, but Joss Whedon is moving on to some new and exciting projects. This includes the animation of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's "season 8." If you haven't read the latest comic books, they pick up where the television series left off. They have been a great success, which is why they are being turned into webisodes.
Joss is currently casting voice actors for the series. Hopefully, we can get some real-life Whedonverse actors… or at least people who sound exactly like the former Scooby gang!

Zack Whedon to Pen 'Terminator' Comics 11/16/09
Recently, Joss Whedon jokingly offered to buy the Terminator franchise for a mere $10,000. Well, it looks like Whedon is getting involved with the title after all, but it's going to be younger brother Zack who takes it on! Talent runs in the family, as you've no doubt noticed.
Zack is working on a six-issue Terminator comic book for Dark Horse. Sorry, fanboys, but there is no word yet on if an illustrated Summer Glau will make an appearance.

What to Expect From Summer Glau's Character 11/12/09
Dollhouse will be back from its hiatus before we know it and that means it's Summer-time! (But, you know, in the winter.) What should we expect from Summer's mysterious new character in Dollhouse?
According to E! Online, she will mainly speak in riddles, but one very coherent sentence will reveal major information about one of the main characters' past!
Whose origin do you think we will learn about?

Joss Confirms Our Worst Fears 11/11/09
I'm sure you've all heard by now, but Dollhouse has been officially canceled. This is very sad news, but I guess we should all be grateful for the second season. Apparently, the writers were expecting the worst, so we will have some closure. No cliffhangers -- that's good!
Here is what Joss Whedon had to say about it over on Whedonesque:
Hmm. Apparently my news is not news.
I don't have a lot to say. I'm extremely proud of the people I've worked with: my star, my staff, my cast, my crew. I feel the show is getting better pretty much every week, and I think you'll agree in the coming months. I'm grateful that we got to put it on, and then come back and put it on again.
I'm off to pursue internet ventures/binge drinking. Possibly that relaxation thing I've read so much about. By the time the last episode airs, you'll know what my next project is. But for now there's a lot of work still to be done, and disappointment to bear.
Thank you all for your support, your patience, your excellent adverts. See you again. -j.

New Viral Marketing for "Dollhouse" 11/10/09
Our favorite show may be on a short hiatus, but its marketing department is in overdrive right now! A crafty user over on Whedonesque found a new viral Website for Dollhouse, known as DitchTheTech.com. It seems that Sentaor Perrin isn't the only one exposing the Rossum Corporation this season.
The Website contains the following message:

Check Out Eliza's Halloween Costume! 11/3/09
Eliza Dushku attended a lavish Halloween party with boyfriend Rick Fox this year. As you can see, they decided to go as a vampiric Bonnie and Clyde! Pretty creative costumes, especially since one of them is a former slayer.
What did you dress as for Halloween?

Joss Whedon to Buy 'Terminator' Rights? 11/2/09
It appears that Joss Whedon is seriously interested in buying the rights to the "Terminator" franchise. So serious, in fact, that he made a public bid to the tune of $10,000! Heh, he even outlined some movie ideas in an open letter to the Halcyon Holding Group.
These include:
"Terminator... of the Rings! Yeah, what if he time-travelled TOO far... back to when there was dragons and wizards? (I think it was the Dark Ages.) Hasta La Vista, Boramir! Cool, huh? "Now you gonna be Gandalf the Red!" RRRRIP! But then he totally helps, because he's a cyborg and he doesn't give a s#&% about the ring -- it has no power over him! And he can carry it AND Frodo AND Sam AND f@%& up some orcs while he's doing it. This stuff just comes to me. I mean it. (I will also offer $10,000 for the Lord of the Rings franchise)."
What do you think? Would Joss make a killer "Terminator" movie or what?
