Adelle DeWitt deliberately referenced the NATO phonetic alphabet (refresher below) to name her Dollhouse Actives -- or did she? Is this naming convention far more than a gimmick?

Speculation: Might Victor have been named in honor of another character Joss has been writing about lately, soulful android Victor Mancha of the comic book series Runaways?

Speculation: I think of Lewis Carroll when the name, Echo, comes up. Echoes fade and memories die. Very apropos, don't you think?
New Active: This is tough. I wanted Juliet, but bansidhewail took her. Okay, how about Hotel? Former life as a computer nerd, now the "go to" active for under the radar operations.	Who would you cast?: David Krumholtz

Speculation: I bet Alpha is the one sending pictures to Agent Ballard.
New Active: Oscar, ex-military, opted to become an active to escape having to live with some sort of battle-related trauma.	Who would you cast?:Adam Baldwin

Speculation: Lubov is Victor. Many are assuming that the character of Victor has been scrapped, but I think that the role of Lubov is just a long-running operation. Possibly in an attempt to ensure Ballard is kept busy, and steered away from the Dollhouse.
New Active: Delta. Was abused by her father in her previous life, inadvertently killed him in self-defence. The Dollhouse offered to cover this up, in exchange for her participation as an Active.	Who would you cast?: Michelle Trachtenberg

Speculation: I think Alpha and Echo are bro&sis, Victor needs to stay to keep Ballard away. Actives that have "memory" could break off to a separate group, kind of like on Buffy when Angel left.
New Active: Bravo. Was a tough girl,an only child raised by her US Marine parents; they both served and died. She also served but was held back, because her bravery was mistaken for suicidal tendencies so she was Honorably discharged. Her family is gone and she wants to start fresh and not be Brave. She will mainly used as a beauty type cases, but will eventually get memory plug ins when a client introduces her to his Marine neighbor.	Who would you cast?: Dania Ramirez

Speculation:Foxtrot, from the ARG will be an aspect of the full show eventually, either working with Ballard or Alpha or as a third factor. since she has Topher's imprint she could use it to figure things out like the remote wipe.
New Active:Whiskey - Girl with super typical Irish looks, gets a lot of "date" jobs with people with Celtic interests. Constant exposure to the same music across personalities creates a linking thread.	Who would you cast?:Christina Hendricks

Speculation: Boyd and Doctor Claire work together, they changed the info in Echo's latest imprint so that she'd give agent Ballard certain information. They're scared of the Dollhouse and think that it's wrong, that's why they work together.
New Active: Oscar, he's a Dutch student and parties alot. One day he got really drunk and accidentally killed someone by hitting him with his car. Dollhouse offers to cover it up. He got used for a job to get a boy's life back on the tracks by just being there for him and listen to him. Till he finds out the reason that his life needs to get back on the tracks, was cause of a hit and run on his father. Which causes trouble for Oscar.	Who would you cast?: Me (lol) or Penn Badgley

Speculation: I think Ms. DeWitt is going to turn out to be the "traitor" within the Dollhouse-- working from atop her own branch, to try and bring down the whole global operation.
New Active: Delta: former flight attendant who started flying the un-friendly skies by getting mixed up with some drug dealers. Dollhouse bailed her out and used experimental Rossum meds to get her un-hooked from the heroin; she signed up as an active to repay her debt.	Who would you cast?: Clare Kramer

Speculation: Topher's assistant, Ivy, is the spy. Using the knowledge about imprinting she learned from Topher , she tampered with Echo's imprint at the end of Man on The Street.
New Active: Romeo: He was a rich party-boy until his father's stock fraud lost him everything since he never worked for money of his own. He signed up with Dollhouse to get enough money to retire before ever getting an actual job when his 5 years were up.	Who would you cast?: Jason Dohring

Speculation: Whiskey: An active obsessed with bringing to justice a woman who killed his family in a freak trucking accident. One night while driving a short haul of Vatted malt, Jillian Moore falls asleep at the wheel killing a family and leaving one survivor, Toefers brother, Jason "Whiskey" Jones. Desperate to keep his brother's memory alive, Toefer brings "Whiskey" to the Attic in hopes of finding a way to keep him close and protected.

Speculation: I think Leo survived the shooting at Rossum Corp (possibly because of the medical technology available on-site), and that he's Alpha. It would explain Alpha's fascination and/or feelings for Echo, and his motivations for trying to take the company down on a global scale. Also, after reading Astonishing X-men, it seems like the sort of thing Joss would do. Anyone else, and the final unveiling of Alpha would just be too anticlimactic-- it's got to be a shocker!
New Active: Foxtrot-- formerly a professional dancer who suffered from a rare neuromuscular disease; heard about Rossum's research into said disease, and hired a Doll (not knowing of the Dollhouse's link to Rossum) to infiltrate the pharmaceutical company to steal some of its experimental drug. After successfully acquiring a cure to her condition, was recruited to the Dollhouse as an active.	Who would you cast?: Me!
