Fave character: ECHO | Reason to watch: Tahmoh Penikett is very sexy! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: What a strong female lead - it's inspiring and typical Joss.
Fave characters: Topher & Alpha | Reason to watch: Hot girls, hot action, hot girls in action! ;) ETA: And because Alan Tudyk is on the show, he's my very favorite actor, and I am glad he got to play the creepy bad guy he's always wanted to! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because the story is fresh, smartly written, and the possibilities are endless! T.V. that challenges and embraces the viewer while entertaining them is the best T.V. there is. Reality shows (which are HARDLY reality anyway) and mindless game shows (not all, but most are) are for the really mindless. I have a brain, I like to use it. The best shows are those that let me escape my world for an hour, and then burns in my brain and is on the tip of my tongue until the next episode. Dollhouse does that. Just like Firefly did, and Buffy, and Angel, and Wonderfalls, and Drive and...see where I am going with this? :D Any other network would be lucky to have such a show! And you have TWO, FOX!!! This and Terminator! Keep 'em both going!
Username: katdragon Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: Just 'cause its a damn good show! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I want to see the character develop in greater detail...
Username: Mercenary42 Fave character: Boyd | Reason to watch: Joss' excellent history. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I'll know by the end of season 1.
Username: Raked Fave character: Sierra | Reason to watch: Because Echo's not the only story told. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: With more time comes more character development. More about Sierra and Victor perhaps? Or maybe even more dolls!
Username: steverg Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: This story is too vast to finish in one season. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I need to know all about how Dollhouse began and where it is going. Perhaps this is not the olnly Dollhouse in the world. Do government agencies really know nothing about DH, or are they covering up involvement? These questions and more can only be answered in future seasons!
Username: weatherwitchtris Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: There's a different plot every time. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: There's no damsel in distress going on- all the characters are strong and interesting.
Username: loyal221 Fave character:all | Reason to watch: Great show Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:There needs to be a season 2 because this show is off to a great start. I watched the first 4 episodes in one round cause I really got interested when I saw the first one. I couldn't wait to see the 5th one. Now I'm waiting on the 6th one. I hope this can go on and on.
Username:wiesengrund Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch: It's an intrigue-o-rama. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because this is one of the most interesting premises ever to see the light of day. And to see, how deep and dark they can go with it.
Username: Karaja Fave character: Sierra & Echo | Reason to watch: Original concept with familiar themes. Also, I have to mention the sexy females ;) Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: There is no way that this show could be resolved in one season. There are endless possibilities and it will be great to see how it plays out. There is both a history of the Dollhouse, a history of the characters and the future of both to tell.
Username: jayasolo Fave character: Echo & Boyd | Reason to watch:Everything Joss touches is a masterpiece, and this one is slowly unfolding. The concept is so mind blowing, yet has the possibility of one day becoming a reality. It keeps you on the edge of your seat as he develops the characters and the story. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because there is no possible way to tell this story in one season. They're going to need more time to really develop and expand these ideas and storylines. To try and cram it into one season would ruin the show.
Username: thewhitewilsmith Fave character: Topher/Sierra | Reason to watch: Brilliant concept. Rich narrative and character development. Joss effing Whedon. 'Nuff said. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Based on where this season is going, the possibilities are endless. This mythology needs to be developed and investigated in all aspects. Renew the show already.
Username: Amy_C Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: Because it's the most original and non-formulaic drama on television. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The show needs a proper amount of time to tell the complete story Joss intended!
Username:mearycat Fave character: echo, policeman too!! | Reason to watch: endless possibilities for storyline!! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:need some scifi with story,if i was gay she'd be it!!!!
Username:Marz__ Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: Balances just the right amount of drama and comedy Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Scifi shows are very underrated and most pale in comparison to Whedon's Dollhouse
Username:arcticfox1 Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch: It's unique! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Reason 1: To make up for cancelling Firefly. Reason 2: Its a genius concept. Reason 3: How dare anyone question Joss Whedon when he gave us Buffy, Angel and Firefly.
Username: piji_o_toe Fave character: Sierra | Reason to watch: To understand the ramifications of the misconception that society has about the 'blank slate' concept. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Hot girls:) hehe j/k... that seems what a lot people are saying, so I'll be different. Reason: It's intellectually stimulating. It's not the usual good-guys-vs-bad-guys, the show discusses how people are affected by their environment. It makes you think if there is a battle between nature vs. nurture, or is it in our genetic code, if so, how does memory affect of genes. Can memory outweigh our instincts or are humans limited to the amount of growth that can have in one lifetime, also how come when these girls are damaged, the next episode, they're all looking sexy again...?? I NEED to know the answer :) haha.... LOVE THE SHOW!!
Username: arya_stark Fave character: Boyd | Reason to watch: Excellent writing, solid acting Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I'm intrigued by the idea of character development when the characters in question are... malleable.
Username: m_lines Fave character: Echo and Boyd | Reason to watch: Joss Whedon :P It's a fresh idea, it's intriguing, cliff hangers, comedy, drama, over all greatness. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I cannot live without new Joss content. Dollhouse is amazing and if it ends I will only be left wondering what else could have happened.
Username: KellySaxy Fave character: I like them all. Sierra and Echo are pretty interesting though. | Reason to watch: Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because what would've happened if they had gotten away with canceling Buffy? We would've missed out on the best show ever on television. Joss always needs a little time to make it the best show on television but I've seen him succeed 3 times. Firefly was canceled and became a movie that everyone I know saw and loved.
Username: Rosemont Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: No one can write dialogue like Joss Whedon. With episode 6 we finally got to see the potential this show has. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I just need Joss Whedon to always have a show on tv for me to watch. He's just brilliant. And if the networks can just give him free reign, who knows what he could do! Whatever he touches is golden.
Username: Steeler92 Fave character: All of them! | Reason to watch: It's one of the few intelligent, entertaining shows on tv. I don't watch a lot of tv but this show is one I don't miss! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Same as the reason I watch
Username: mrssndvl06 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: The strong female lead and seriously wicked plots Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Season 1 is to get the introductions and develop the characters. Season 2 will rock us hard! I can't wait to see where Joss is going to take us next!
Username: Siye Fave character: Paul | Reason to watch: Because this is a series that isn't afraid to push the boundaries on conventional taboos subjects (i.e. sex, violence, etc) in order to ask some very harrowing questions regarding human choice, morale, and responsibility. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: A guilty pleasure of mine is to see Echo and Paul perhaps ensue a relationship later on. Meanwhile, I'd more than happy to kick back and watch the dynamic between the two slowly take form.
Username:Goodwinkr Fave characters:Echo | Reason to watch: The last episode was awesome! Much more in the spirit of Joss Whedon - something that will have a huge following if you allow it to continue! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:To see what happens next!
Username:Zenfury Fave character:Ballard | Reason to watch: There's limitless potential for storytelling in the format, plenty of action, and a growing, deep mythology for those who like that sort of thing (such as me). Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because too many good sci-fi shows are cancelled before they have a chance to really get started. Star Trek didn't start out a ratings monster either - give the show a chance to thrive!
Username: niki723 Fave character: Echo and Topher | Reason to watch: Eliza! It's amazing to see her expand her abilities and play many different characters in one. And I love Topher. He's a perfect cool tech guy character who isn't bound to the stereotype. The acting, scripts, and pacing are top quality and I think the show will fly if given a chance. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I'm addicted! Dollhouse is the only show I watch when it airs. The story is unfolding so deliciously, and I can't wait for more.
Username:jena1723 Fave character:echo, topher | Reason to watch: Joss+Eliza= gold!!! I have loved them both since the days of Buffy, and am so excited for the opportunity to once again see one of Whedon's creations unfold...... Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because as we have all seen before, Joss is (to quote Eliza) "a storyteller" he needs time to do his thang,,,,,
Username: fantasyfreak09 Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: The entire premise of the show is something any fantasy enthusiast like myself dreams about. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: One season isn't nearly enough time to explore all the possibilities a show like this has. Plus, with Lost ending after 6 seasons, fans of that show, like me, will need something awesome to watch that we can speculate on.
Username: out_of_aces Fave character:mellie | Reason to watch: the show is starting to get so good and there's an infinite amount of places where the writers can go. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: it would be a crime to not let this show develop. it could become one of the great cult shows in tv history.
Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch:It's unpredictable & very entertaining. The twists & turns keep you interested & wanting more. Very smart show with endless possibilities! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:My friends & I are addicted! We watch every show twice, just to make sure we didn't miss anything! How else is Joss going to make Eve his next awesome doll.
Username:tmhatter Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch: It's rare to find a television show which is actually science-fiction as opposed to "sci-fi." DOLLHOUSE is also more challenging than television usually manages. Echo and the other "dolls" are literally slaves in a totalitarian organization, and Echo's revolt is a triumph of the human spirit. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Shows that are meant to disturb and provoke are rare; I'd miss this show greatly if it were axed. Also, it's impossible that the themes raised and plot threads will be resolved in one season alone.
Username: MysteriousTwinkie Fave character: Paul Ballard | Reason to watch: It's original, deep, and written very well. Not a flash in the pan but something with real staying power. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because by the time Season 1 ends, things will have only begun to percolate. I must know more!
Username:Jensing199 Fave character:Mellie! | Reason to watch: you can't guess what happens next!No seriously, it's crazy! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because I need to have more Joss in my life! I need to have a new reason and a "tv day!"
Username:Jazzcat93 Fave character:Echo,Victor &Topher | Reason to watch: It's exciting, unexpected, creative, and extremely fun to be able to look into this new world that Joss has created. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:I am addicted to Echo and may of the other characters and what happens to them! I PROMISE to watch every episode and let every one of my friends know about Dollhouse so they'll be sure to tune in, as well! At the risk of sounding obsessed with this show, I must confess that I count the days, the hours, the minutes, the seconds until each next episode will air...Okay, I AM obsessed, I'll admit it!!!
Username: RogerMonkey Fave character: Adele/Echo | Reason to watch: It's so crazy, you never know who is a doll. For all we know everybody working in the dollhouse could be a doll. It constantly gives surprises and the action scene never fail. Hopefully in season 2 Joss will get more power to do what he wants. Plus Joss is a genius. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Cause i know deep down that i will get better, this is just the beginning introducing everyone getting to know them. But season 2 will start off running, like running on steroids crazy run.
Username: bluesun89 Fave character: Paul Ballard | Reason to watch: All the boys! Have you seen the pretties lately? Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: This show is too fantastic to lose. It's pure Joss and I need that in my life. I need new Joss. The concept is great and the possibilities are endless. Also, I love talking with all of you and would hate to lose the pivotal talking points that are this show.
Username: doppelgangerdoll Fave character: Adelle, Topher | Reason to watch: Complexity with classic Whedon humor. Eliza Dushku kicking ass. Topher and his juice boxes. Adelle's wardrobe and high-class status. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Why would anyone not need it? It exceeds any other show on television by far. A great group of actors, a solid and intriguing storyline, versatility. What else does an addicting and fulfilling television show need?
Username: dazdnconfusd Fave character: Ballard, Topher, Boyd | Reason to watch: Because if I know anything about Whedon, its that a strong ensemble cast is his strong suit. I like that we're getting away from Echo's story alone and starting to see the development of other characters. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: We need ORIGINAL sci-fi/fantasy shows, and Joss is the only one providing them. And because we know from Firefly that the end of season 1 is going to leave us with so many questions, that if we don't get season 2, we'll need a movie.
Username: Frozencatnip Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: Because it's the freshest new show on tv, with an awesome premise, great acting, and great characterization; everything that makes Whedon shows shine. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because there is no conceivable way we can find out everything about the Dollhouse in only one season. The first season's basically a teaser to capture interest, but the premise has too much complexity for everything to be tied up neatly in just a few months. Don't make a mistake on this one, Fox - let it play out!
Username: magicmc Fave character: Paul, Echo, Sierra, and Victor | Reason to watch: It's an amazing show. The characters get more complicated with each episode, as does the story line. Plus, it's done by Joss Whedon, who is awesome Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: How are we supposed to find out everything about the dollhouse in one season? It's not possible. So, we need a season 2. The show is exciting and fun and interesting and it would be devastating if it ended after 1 season.
Username: lthompson123 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: Great Show, I usually miss Friday night TV, so I download the latest episode on monday from the PS3 online store and watch. Dollhouse looks great on a PS3. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Another great Joss Whedon series with Eliza Dushku has to have many more seasons
Username: Dollbait Fave character: Adelle, Echo/ Caroline | Reason to watch: Joss Whedon creates outside "the cube". Joss and Eliza Dushku are a great combination combining forces to create a great suspense story. It isn't just centered all on one character, the story unfolds with several sub plots dealing with the cast all running concurently and seamed together. And we find no one is immune from the chaos that can happen. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: This story line will take several seasons to reveal all it's secrets. An idea from Joss isn't typical TV. There are things going on from the beginning that leave one hanging on to find out how it plays out. Dollhouse builds one story from the others, much as say, CSI does. And we get to see Eliza able to use her full talent as well as the rest of the cast. She has been a long time favorite actor of mine. I couldn't wait for another Joss Whedon show. The story line and acting are top quality. Makes me wish it was on the Sci-Fi channel lol... Olivia Williams is playing a very strong outward appearances got it all in control character in Adelle. Even when she doesn't or loses that control, she gets it back and regains her composure. And is finding Echo to be more of an asset than hinderance or threat, maybe even a little bit thinking of her as an ally. I am finding her part of the reason to watch. A very complicated woman.
Username: llumi14 Fave characters: Topher and Boyd | Reason to watch: I am really enjoying the transition from doll state to imprinted. There's a new surprise each week and there are tons of unanswered questions which brings a good drama to the show. It's really intriguing. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I think that Season One is just the tip of the iceberg. If each episode is leaving me salivating at the bit and barely able to wait the 7 days until the next episode then what's the season finale going to do. This can't possibly be figured out in one season. There are too many questions.
Username:aidanskye Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch: It is a complex and engaging storyline that pushes the line of modern day science and science fiction and make people think of the ethics envolved in social actions and medicine. Add to that some great actors, amazing figfht scenes, and complex interlaced plot twist and it is a chow that will keep us on edge, entertained and on our toes for yearss to come. ONce again Josh had created a breakthrough show that is truly ahead of the pack! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: see "Reasons to Watch".
Username: creatrix Fave character: echo/boyd | Reason to watch: joss is amazing. AND, his shows need space and time to unfold. just think how buffy and angel evolved over seasons becoming exponentially richer, more complex, more fabullous. dollhouse has all this potential and more, so early on. give joss a chance, keep dollhouse alive. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: because i NEED to know what's going to happen!
Username: csi_spy Fave character: Adelle, Ballard | Reason to watch: It's an intriguing show that is fun to watch but at the same time makes its audience think. It doesn't spoonfeed the audience and it makes us think about the ideas presented in the show. It has the potential of becoming into a very, very brilliant show. Plus, the ENTIRE cast is attractive, and the acting's good. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: It's one of the few TV shows out there that requires me to think. And I like thinking. Also, I want to know what happens next.
Username: mae10286 Fave character: Echo, BOyd | Reason to watch: Because it surprises you, even if you think you've figured a part of it out Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because Joss Whedon needs his time to shine!!!
Username: GraDolphin19 Fave character: They are all great! | Reason to watch: It is one of the best new show's out there. It needs to be advertised better - I just stumbled over it last night & watched the tail end of it on TV. It was so great I have watched all the other episodes I could online today. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I don't think we as a people need another blah show & dollhouse is anything but blah. It has plot twists and intrigues that keep you interested, all in one sitting :) I am going to recommend this show to all of my friends & i will even watch it live on Fridays if I can instead of just DVRing it for later.
Username:jdonnell Fave character:Echo, Sierra | Reason to watch: Great new show with intriguing characters. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Always need more great television from Joss Whedon.
Username: onedcurve Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: It's a great show! It's an original concept and touches upon much discussed topics - like freedom, control, identity - in a new and refreshing way. It actually makes the audience think and the plot is intriguing, complex and has excellent twists. Also, the cast is great. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because there are too many questions and issues to be resolved satisfactorily in one season. A good story needs its time to be told.
Username: Ian Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: It is one of the best shows ever. It's very interesting, there is beutiful Eliza Dushku. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because the first season is so short. This Tv series have to have contiunes.
Username: anniekinsx Fave character: Topher! (he reminds me alot of xander!) and Paul Ballard is a good character too x) | Reason to watch: Joss makes amazing shows!! i love his humor and i especially love having it on tv. the show is so original and intense! and the cast is great. i can see alot of buffy elements in the show (thankfully) :) Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2 i need to know what happens! echo and paul need to get together! and topher and claire! and cause joss needs to stay on the air :) i love his productions, and this show especially too complex to end after one season. unless they just simplified the info and the reason behind the Dollhouse, but then it would ruin the show. i need to find out if echo ever actually gives paul enough info, and what will happen to the Dollhouse if he does expose it! plus each individual episode is awesome! it always has such a twist and i hope the different characters echo slips into never stop being so original :)
Username:Jenny5043 Fave character:echo/victor | Reason to watch: I have loved the last few episodes and I can't wait to see where the story is going. Also I love seeing Eliza playing so many characters as it truly shows her diversity as an actress. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The story is not going to be rounded up in the first season. There are lots of separate story lines for the different characters and we need to see them play out. Also I want to see more of the minor characters like Dr Saunders.
Username:BethWood01 Fave character: Mellie | Reason to watch: Joss Fan Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because there are mysteries to uncover!
Username:Jon493 Fave character:Topher and Boyd | Reason to watch:This show has just started to take off! Excellent twists and much mystery! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:The show will introduce us to ALPHA finally! at the end of the season. FOX give Whedon a chance look at Buffy it took three seasons to become awesome. WB had a hit you WILL too! The show is just beginning to unravel.
Username:Jaet24 Fave character: all! | Reason to watch: The show is FRESH and new ideas. Film major and dont get into anything very much, but this shows got me hooked! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The show will be FOX's "heroes".!! the story like stated above isnt going to be done in one season. its already got me hooked. and if the second season doesnt air. ill be lost. !
Username:noreebia Fave character:Every one of 'em! | Reason to watch: Animal instincts. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Like amy-c so very well put it, "The show needs a proper amount of time to tell the complete story Joss intended! "
Username:SilentEchoes Fave character:Echo, Mellie, last but not least Adelle. | Reason to watch: It's a show that makes you feel and sends you on an emotionally fun rollercoaster each episode Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Why else? it's damn good.
Username:Lissagirl Fave character: Adelle | Reason to watch: It is complex. It makes you think about moral issues, such the value of personal autonomy. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: We need more smart shows
Username: EmySayers Fave character: Mellie, Echo, Topher, PAUL! | Reason to watch: Surprises you every week... and makes you think! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The characters haven't even begun yet to let you know whats going on with them! Who else are Dolls! Maybe Duwitts a doll? Who knows. The possibilities are endless and each week can be a completely different story. This isn't a girl in need. She's strong and will prob get out of this herself. This is the first originally thought out show that I've seen in ages and the cast is AMAZING! Joss Whedon at his best.... This show could be better than Buffy if given a chance!
Username:lilsis Fave character:Echo and Paul Ballard .. all of them really! | Reason to watch: It's awsome! It has more depth than half the shows that air! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: why fox needs it is more like it. The only other shows I watch are Bones and Lie to Me on ocassion American Idol the rest of Foxe's programming is old and stale! I find the sexiness of Dollhouse fine and the sleeziness of Two and a half men gross! Kids may grow up around characters like charlie sheen but that doesn't mean I want to watch it. Come on People you've got gold here just shine it up ..refine it.. just give it a chance!
Username:nwap8885 Fave character:Echo/Topher | Reason to watch: It is super amazing and there's always a lot of action! Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: There is so much more to find out about the dollhouse, in addition to the fact that the cast is amazing!
Username:estilrose Fave character: Ballard/Echo | Reason to watch: It's complex, and enthralling. I change who I'm rooting for every commercial break! Joss hits it out of the park yet again! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I NEED good scripted shows. My brain can't handle any more pap. Joss and the Dollhouse keep me entertained and yet make me think!
Username:SirBlack Fave character: Sierra | Reason to watch: Some people are tired of watching brain rotting garbage (American Idol). The thing with Dollhouse is that it isn't that. It's something that doesn't leave you feeling like you just spent part of your life shoving your head up somewhere. It's good, it's different, it should stay. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: See above. All of the above.
Username:mtngoddess Fave character: Reed | Reason to watch: The show is different, explores the ethics of scientific advancement, has unlimited plot potential both within individual episodes and the overall series, and is very well cast. Every character has his/her own flaws and talents. All of the actors are versatile and can be whomever they need to be for each episode. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I don't watch TV. My TV is used only for running the DVD player. I have very limited time, but every week I make time to come to the website and watch this show. There are only two shows I watch: Dollhouse and Heroes and Heroes is pretty disappointing this season. Take away my Dollhouse, I've got nothing.
Username: Newslang06 Fave character: Ballard, Topher | Reason to watch: Awesome plots, great acting, amazing plot twists, Topher. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: This show is too good to end after just one season!
Username: DHD_03 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: It is more original than most shows on TV, it is inventive, and has so many opportunities to do things that other shows can't. There is always something new happening, as well as following and intriguing story line. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I love the show it's great, besides what is going to replace it some more crappy reality TV. I need to see real acting, with something to it, a plot, some twist, some action, some drama, all the things this show can bring.
Username:Ninjashoez Fave character: Echo, Topher | Reason to watch: It's rare that shows come along that are unique in story and character development. The show creates a sense of mystery, at first you think everyone is a volunteer due to some horrible incident. Sort of like juvenile kids giving the chance to skip prison and joining the military. But then we later find out that some people were forced in one way or another which has us guessing on how many others are there that aren't volunteers. The show also plays w/ the major philosophical question would you choose a life of lies for happiness, or would you rather be unhappy and truthful <which we see from the latest episode>. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I think it is wrong to cut shows off after one season, especially when it has a loyal fan base. Many shows, or great shows took almost two seasons till they got really good and popular. I think the show has room for many different story arches, and many of the characters who are easily likable still need their stories told. Also who doesnt want to see more Eliza DUshku!?
Username: ChocoboFeathers Fave character: Dr. Saunders, Topher and Dewitt. | Reason to watch: Dewitt, Saunders, Topher, Echo, Boyd, Victor, the mystery of Alpha, Rossum and all the questions that are raised along the way, it's a unique show to my knowledge, it gets me thinking, the fact that I find just about all the employees inside the Dollhouse (except Dominic) perfectly likeable, even loveable, despite that what they do every day is just plain wrong@_@, to see how Echo will evolve, and...well that's all that comes to mind right now. I'd say bottom line is it might just be one of the most complex and mulyifaceted shows I've ever encountered. What idiot just throws that away?! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: All of the above, pluss the show needs more seasons to do the stories (there's at least three) justice, to properly give reslution to all the different mysteries, to explore the full potential and depth of the characters (it's already evident that several characters have both these qualities in great measure) and 'cause I wanna keep watching.
Username:Jaz4tscc Fave character: Echo, Topher | Reason to watch: Joss Whedon's brilliant. The dollhouse is an excellent idea and has infinite possibilities.Eliza D. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I want to know the purpose of the Dollhouse, more about Alpha, and lets be honest the idea of a dollhouse is just awesome. I don't want it to end.
Username:Jinian Fave character:Boyd, November, SIerra, Echo, Topher, Adelle | Reason to watch: Because the way dolls change roles and identities is so like what "flexibile capitalism," hookups, and other ways of treating people as "plug and play and then discard" does anyway. Do you care about who the other person is? This show asks that question in many ways. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because it is helping me imagine the world differently.
Username:Jaded_Tech Fave character: I don't think I have enough space here. | Reason to watch: Unique, creative, changing, andintelligentstory telling that does not go for the lowest commondenominator. Its shows like this that help people think. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: not giving it another season or 2 more season is leaving a story unfinished.
Username: noobloser Fave character: Dr. Saunders, Topher, and Adelle, but all of them are awesome! | Reason to watch: What reason is there NOT to watch? You have action, romance, humor, deep and philisophical themes, along with characters that are well constructed, and although I am not a Whedonite, I know a good show when I see it, and this is it. It has just enough fantasy and real life scenarios to keep me hooked. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: If this show gets cancelled, oh boy, I will not be able to watch TV for a long time. Plus, it'll give me the chance to know what it's like to be REALLY obsessed with a TV show. Oh, and the mysteries that are the characters' pasts need to be solved! Hm, those aren't very good reasons...a better one would be making money. Because we're all concerned about making money in the end.
Username: lapetitesoldate Fave character: Echo, Sierra, Paul, Ms. Dewitt, Topher - love them ALL! | Reason to watch: because it's absolutely the best show that has hit TV in a long time. It's fun, sexy and smart. It's also stylish and unique. The characters are brilliant and unforgettable. The plot draws you in. You won't regret watching it. There's nothing like this on TV. Engrossing and lovely! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: because Fox can't keep canceling good shows without fans becoming disgusted/enraged/betrayed by the network. Please don't cancel it prematurely, because we all want more of the Dollhouse universe. We're already deeply entrenched in it. Canceling this show would be like severing a metaphoric limb. There's a huge demand for good sci-fi shows like this.
Username:meanoldmoe Fave character:Echo, Sierra,Topher | Reason to watch: Anything Joss does always has a good story , with interesting plots and people. This show is a fresh story with loads of potential. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I would love to see Dollhouse develop and mature into something with allot of plot twists, and story arcs . Seeing more of who the dolls were before they became dolls, and finding out why they became dolls. The potential for this show to take off and grow more interesting , is endless.
Username:FoxisStupid Fave character:Echo, Sierra | Reason to watch: Dollhouse is a Smart show, my wife and I look forward to it every Friday. And we actually talk about it afterwords which honestly we don't do for much TV. The actors and characters are great. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2:1.It is a great original concept which can go on for a while without repeating the same stuff like many sitcoms. 2. Some of us have been crying to stop the Reality Shows for years, this show helps with that. 3. Stop F*cking with Joss, if you would give his shows a chance to get to another season you might be surprised. I dont even know why he bothers to work with Fox.
Username:jta011 Fave character:Echo November Topher | Reason to watch: Good show. Strong and Steady plot development. Sexy naked shower scenes. Lots of fighting and scandals. Internal struggle and growth. It gives hope. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: It would be tragic to leave the show unfinished, and as it stands, would be impossible to close the storyline successfully with only one season. If you do something, do it right, do it efficiently. You jumped in, to bail out prematurely, would be premature... FOX is a mature station! Want to make money off this show? Advertise during House. The internal struggle and development of the main character will attract viewers like crazy and keep people watching FOX. This isn't your typical science fiction, it has drama aspects which will appeal to a wide audience if you can get the word out. However unlike house, this story would be most beautiful with proper closure, no matter how many seasons it goes through. Proper being the key word.
Username: sara_ann Fave character: | Reason to watch: Best show on TV. The story arcs are great and I can't wait to see the next episode. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I need to know what happens next!
Username:la_ca Fave character: | Reason to watch:only one reason Eliza Dushku!!!!! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Cuz it will be funn!!!!
Username:scififanfl Fave character:Echo,Sierra&Victor | Reason to watch: Echo's evolving personality and the incredible plot twists. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: This show just keeps getting better, and it needs a chance to grow. The characters have a lot of potential and it is one of the most interesting concepts on televison.
Username:gogocrew Fave character:LOVE Echo | Reason to watch: Best show in the World Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: because is number 1 in 21 century and number 1 for me!!!
Username: actingissocool Fave character: adelle, Echo, November, Sierra, I just LOVE them ALL!!!! | Reason to watch: The entire plost of this show is completely riveting. If people watch the show, they are sure to get sucked into this story. It's so unlike most shows and, just like all Joss writings, all the characters are different and very multi-dimensional. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: These characters are growing, they need another season to really get depth into their characters. All Joss shows just keep getting better after seasons go on. This is the best show fox has to offer at this point. PLEASE let it keep going on. I probably won't watch fox after this show is over.
Username:xoxo_*jas*_xoxo Fave character: Topher, Adelle and Victor | Reason to watch: It's original, witty, mind-blowing, intriguing and absolutely addictive. It makes me beg for more every week. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: To see the plot develop. There is no way such a brilliant storyline could be developed in one season. Also, I want to see the characters develop. Who knows? This show has so much potential. There is so much they could possibly do with it. I I mean this show could go on forever, maybe even after Echo becomes Caroline again. All this show needs is a chance to do that and that's why I need S2 of Dollhouse.
Username:Active94 Fave character: I LOVE ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!! | Reason to watch: It's creative, new, something you really don't see everyday, and all around amazing-as Joss Whedon is! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:I want to see where this story goes. How Echo and the other character form and develop. I want to see who they were before they became dolls. Like xoxo_*jas*_xoxo says, all this show needs is a chance.
Username:FrenchfanofTSCC Fave character:echo | Reason to watch: Great show ,nice outside scenes, great story ! renew Dollhouse !! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Great Show !
Username: JoanED Fave character: Echo; Boyd; Saunders; DeWitt | Reason to watch: Because it will get your heart beating so fast you can hardly breathe; because it is so addicting you keep wishing it's Friday already; because even a character with no personality or memories will steal your heart. The show is amazing; the plots are absolutely fantastic and unpredictable; and this show deserves much more than one season. Every week I get more hooked and I know that given the chance a few 18.689.999 people would agree with me! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Dollhouse is a one of a kind show and season one should only be its stepping stone. The show is AMAZING and knowing Joss Whedon it will only continue to amaze us until we burst. Having a second season shouldn't be a question. It should be certain.
Username: quazi918 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: I was addicted from the first moment I began watching and now can't wait to catch up on the entire season. The story is new, creative and pushing the boundaries. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because i cannot get enough of the show
Username: MusicCrusader Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: American Television abounds with too many shows that are just a repeat of something we've already seen before. We don't need more crime dramas and sitcoms, we need something that will actually entertain our minds and challenge our perceptions. Add that with Joss's trademark ability to make you laugh even in the darkest hours of his shows and you have something truly worth watching. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because if I have to try and satisfy my need for Joss with another short season DVD box set (like Firefly...), I'm going to slowly slip into a spiral of desire and neediness, which no one in this world needs to see.
Username: Grafix_D'syner Fave character: Echo and Paul | Reason to watch: Interesting and captivating storyline and sexy characters! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: This is only 1 of 4 shows that I watch and I am tired of networks canceling good shows and putting crap shows in its place. I wish Drive would have gotten a real chance also!
Username:Kstrobel92 Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch: I first tuned into Dollhouse because Joss Whedon but i continued watching because the show, in my opinion it is better then Buffy or Angel because it could be real. Its high tech and people are the bad guys as compared to monsters being the villain. Also Dollhouse is not just another cop show or medical drama, it has something that we have not seen before and that something is what is going to make the show pay off in the long run. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Dollhouse needs as season two because season one is almost up and it is not possible to explain all i want to know in just the few episodes of season number one, also think of Buffy that show had bumpy beginnings but in season two the numbers went up and continued going up.
Username:tinman131 Fave character: Mellie aka November | Reason to watch: The incredible story. Joss Whedon is a story teller that is shaping the world of Dollhouse and every episode is showing the viewer more and more answers to the mystery of what lies behind the deeper meaning of Dollhouse. Yet with every new answer lies even more questions. I LOVE a good mystery and this show satisfies and yet still intrigues me to watch every week. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Joss Whedon has to be one of most original writers in hollywood today. I have watched everything he has ever put on TV and film and I am never disappointed in the originality of his stories or in the hidden surprises he has in store for the people who come along for the ride. Dollhouse is like a rose that is still opening up its petals and as the story blossoms we will see more and more of the beauty of what he has created. I NEED a 2nd season. This is one F**King great show.
Username:foxyfan Fave character: Topher/Echo | Reason to watch: I love Joss' work and this is no exception. This show makes you think and has delicious twists and turns, there is nothing else like this on tv - I <3 it. This show HAS to continue - please make Season 2!!
Username: Queenbtch Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: The writing is getting better and better with each episode. I love the concept and the story development. AND the kick-butt female lead. Thanks, Joss! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I need to know just exactly how Echo continues to function in the Dollhouse. I love the supporting characters and am finding them more and more interesting with each week. PLEASE, Fox. Give this show a second season and a chance to really hit its stride!
Username: kelliejo806 Fave character: Echo/Topher | Reason to watch: Dollhouse has a fresh storyline that we haven't seen before. It has a solid cast, and fantastic writers. Its a Joss Whedon show...need I say more? Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The show is one of the best I have ever seen. There is so much that hasn't been revealed yet, and so much character development left. Again, its a Joss show...it can only get better from here.
Username: echo-november Fave character: Echo/November/Victor | Reason to watch: The show provides somethine new that has not been offered before -- the chance to get attached to main characters while experiencing these characters in different roles in each episode! And it's great to see Elize in a starring role, she is fantastic!! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: To save myself from all the other mundane shows that we see on tv! This is something unique and fun to watch!
Username: zannahdoll Fave character: Echo, Boyd, Adelle, Topher, Paul, Sierra, Victor, Dr. Saunders | Reason to watch: Relatable and Out-Of-This-World at the same time Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I think this show brings to light some very personal feelings in each of us with themes of having your dreams/fantasies come true (and how far you are willing to go for that to happen), how much we like to forget horrible circumstances in our lives or be willing to give up 5 years of our lives to get rid of problems, and the question of what is real, who is real and what is sincere... I find that this makes the show incredibly relatable to everyone with our insecurities and desires. And what is freedom? Then on the flip side this is an intriguing science fiction with a concept I have never even imagined before. The creativity and mystery in the story telling is not at all something I can guess or relate to, but I love that - because it turns the wheels in my head and keeps me entertained as well as leaves me wondering about all thepossibilitiesboth real and in my imagination. That is a good story that just sticks with you and you can't wait to know what happens next. I need a season two because there are still so many questions and I want more answers! I want to explore what new adventures are waiting of and have my limited imagination expanded. I can't wait for the next episode!!! Please don't take this show away!!!!
Username: AnthonyNevsig Fave character: Duh Echo | Reason to watch: I need to watch because I need for a Whedon show to not be canceled after one season. Whedon's stories and characters require development, and if the programming directors were to look at his previous shows they would realize this. This big Whedon shows, Buffy And Angel, both weren't even very good until seasons two or three-- that is, not good enough to compete with other shows. Nevertheless, after the foundation of the story had been lain and the stories revealed some more subtle and complex elements of the characters, viewers found themselves having no choice but to watch. Some at Fox might claim that the fate of a show depends on numbers and sponsors, but to think that there is such a direct cause and effect relationship would be crass. Fox needs friends right now, especially with Fox News estranging an increasing number of viewers. Dollhouse would help that; call it a "loss leader" just like the large department stores have. It's something that many people want, and while it may not be generating the income , it is more important that it brings the customers. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: The answer to this depends on ho much Fox thinks they need me. I don't have to have it. I really don't. However, I have no problem abandoning the entire network if I conclude that they aren't making good decisions-- decisions that do generate income for them, but at no cost to the integrity of television as a source of entertainment and art, as opposed to geurilla television, throwing in a show for a few blinks of the eye, then removing it because middle management still can't afford that new Bentley. It's a form of bullying, and on a less couscious level, those in charge know it. I work in television and see it all the time.
Username: Mjolnir200508 Fave character: Boyd/Echo | Reason to watch: Not the pretty people. Not the fact that Joss wrote it. Not the fact that it looks so lush. The number one reason to watch it is the entire premise. It's thought-provoking and intelligent, while amusing in parts. It shows a variety of different outlooks on several different matters and in no way advocates slave labour. It is a very welcome and intriguing indictment of the human condition. (Also Joss is my Master.) Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: If no season 2 is ordered, it is unlikely that the full potential of a money-making UK fanbase will be unleashed.... Second season = UK broadcast and following which = $$$$$$$$$ for FOX. Also season 1 hasn't even broadcast in the UK yet. How can you possibly cancel a show without having given the WHOLE WORLD a chance to give its opinion?? Cancellation is not a financially viable option!!
Username:Crazyoperafan Fave character:Echo and Ballard | Reason to watch:This is obviously a well thought out show and it's clear, as a viewer, that those producing the show want to entertain the audience and make them think. By exploring complex characters and even more complex and disturbing aspects of science, human nature, the existence of the soul, etc. the creators and producers of "Dollhouse" demonstrate their respect for us. I find that very appealing. It's the best of both worlds. I get exciting scif-fi, romance, action-adventure with amazing special effects and a deeply compelling plot and characters. It's rare to find this kind of show. Thank you for wanting to give us such a high quality product and please keep it coming. If it continues, I might actually start watch network television again. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I agree withAnthonyNevsig(#98). I don't have to watch FOX, but I want to. I watch other channels that give me a few quality shows, but I ignore the channels that don't try very hard to give me good productions. I think this show could access more people who are searching for substance and flash on TV but they just don't know it's there. Like me, they assume that everything is trash today, and most of the time, they are right. It was a fluke that I saw an advertisement. One advertisement and I watched the show, but I never saw ANYTHING ever again. It's a big mistake, in my opinion, that happens over and over again to the most thoughtful and entertaining shows. I don't sit in front of my TV for hours at a time, but I should have seen or heard something about it. Get people out there talking about it in other venues, because that's how you will get people interested. Honestly, I haven't watch FOX in a long, long time because I didn't think there was anything good on. Again, it was a fluke that I saw it. I'll give you an example. I'm hooked on the spy novels by Ted Bell (the Hawke series) but even though I had been working at a bookstore, I had never heard of him. I was listening to the radio, heard a very dramatic synopsis of the books that piqued my interest and I went out to buy it the next day. I've bought all 5 of his books in hardcover. That's just a bit of advise from a dedicated Dollhouse fan. I hope you consider it. I love the show. There is so much to explore, give us a chance to come along for the ride.
Username: coreymon77 Fave character: Echo, Topher and Boyd | Reason to watch: It is a rarity nowadays with reality TV shows and other programs that treat their audiences like two-year-olds for a truly intelligent show to emerge that treats its audience like what they really are, intelligent people. The writing is brilliant, the acting is brilliant and the plot is incredible. Leave it to Joss to take such a difficult concept and make such an incredible show. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Quite simply, I am hooked. This show is incredible and I need more, I need to be taken on the ride that is this show again and again. Dollhouse has kept what faith I still have in television alive and I do not want to lose that!
Username: Papa85 Fave character:Adelle | Reason to watch: To see the intrigue increase and to learn who all actually is a doll and how many dollhouses there really are. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Adelle! Is she really a doll as I think she's thinking she is? If so, does she WANT to free the dolls or is she imprinted so that even if she knows she is a doll she would still want to keep the dolls going? And what about echo? Is she really trying to free the dolls or just do good the best way she can? And what about Sierra and Victor? Will Joss actually let a couple stay together for the entirety of a show? I need to know!
Username: GrumpyBob Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: This show has depth and it is obvious. Give it another season to truly bloom and it will flourish. People just need to know that they aren't going to commit to a doomed show. 2 seasons gives them greater reassurance... Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because it proves that Hollywood can put out better TV than the reality phase that seems to endlessly last... and last. and last...
Username:cavefaith Fave character:all | Reason to watch: There ae several reasons first Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker are both amazing actresses. Second Joss Whedon is a brilliant writer he has proved that time and time again. Last and mot important haven't we learned yet that waiting on DVD sales is important. Alot of people wait for it to come out on DVD, I know I work in a video store, and they already lost out on a lot of money with Firefly. Think about how much money could have been made in DVD sales of second season of Firefly do you want to make the same the same mistake with Dollhouse. THink about how much money would have been lost on Buffy if they had cancelled it after season five like they tried to. Bottom line cancelling yet another Joss Whedon show premiturly would be a big mistake.
Username:crysta_1973 Fave character:Echo, Boyd, Millie | Reason to watch: It's a great show with a fresh idea Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I HAVE to know who alpha is and what his connection to Echo is. I also want to know what happens after their 5 years is up. Do they return to their old lives? How do they explain where they've been, what they've been doing. GREAT SHOW!!
Username:Darkchief117 Fave character: Echo, Tofer, Saunders | Reason to watch: One of the few innovative shows left on tv, a nice break from the overflow of reality shows and crime dramas that seem to be everywhere. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Like I said, it is one of the few innovative shows on TV, especially in the sci fi genre. Smallville is turning to crap, Supernatural is probably done after next season, Heroes is getting very sloppy, and Lost's last season is next year. If renewed, Dollhouse will be one of the few high quality and intelligent sci fi shows just beginning its run, so its likely to get an influx of fans from all the other cancelled shows. Now for why I need Season Two and not why Fox needs it - The show keeps me guessing every week and never fails to surprise me. So many questions will be left in the air if it is cancelled now, it is starting to feel like another Firefly all over again. Fox isn't short on money, they can take a chance with the show and give it a better time slot (give it Prison Break's slot since the show is done), and the viewership will grow greatly. This is a show that a large number of people would love if the advertising was better and more people were aware of it.
Username:grANdyC Fave character: Tofer | Reason to watch: The best sci-fi drama on TV at the moment and probably ever! Brain using entertainment!!! Also... FOX YOU WILL MAKE A SHED LOAD OF MONEY FROM THIS SHOW'S DVD SALES!!! REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED WITH FAMILY GUY, YOU AXED IT TWICE AND THEN AFTER AMAZING SALES YOU HAD TO SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE AND GO AND BRING IT BACK!!! FOX RENEW DOLLHOUSE IF YOU LOVE $$$$$$$ !!!! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Nothing beats good drama and this is the best!!!
Username:FanoftheDoll Fave character:Boyd | Reason to watch: Probably the best one-hour drama on television. Seriously. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:Joss is a true artist and his show needs the time to fulfill his vision. This show features the best writing on television. It makes me stay in on Friday nights and keeps me tuned in.
Username: Echo88 Fave character: Topher, Sierra | Reason to watch: The characters are compelling; the storyline is intriguing and fascinating. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I wait all week for Friday nights to watch this show! It's the best show on tv right now! Please give it a chance to get some momentum before pulling the plug! Please show Ep. 13!
Username: NatalieLum Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: Something new every week, hot chicks kicking butt. Whats not to love. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I love to get lost in a never ending story. Especially SciFi stories. If they put this show on Tuesday nights after Idol, it would soar. Friday nights are the hardest nights for any show. They know that. Do it Fox, dont be stupid. This could be a money maker.
Username:MIke26301 Fave character:all of them | Reason to watch: well reason why i need dollhouse os its the only best show on the air. Its a tv show that is welling to be saved to become a second season. the show just has a lot of ecitment is a all around good show. its the best show i have ever seen. to be onsit i thought at first that the show sucked but then i started to watch the show and made it really got to me so i record every epsoide i watch it every time it comes out Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:
Username: Fave character:, Millie | Reason to watch: Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:
Username: nadia-d Fave character: Topher, Victor | Reason to watch: It's Joss freaking Whedon! It's original, funny, sexy and all together fabulous! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:You can't leave me hanging again!! I need closure!
Username: tximeleta.nc Fave character: all of them! So great! | Reason to watch: My husband and I wait for every Friday night (and almost had our weekend ruined 4/17) because we adore this show. I don't know what Fox needs to hear to keep it on, but we are young professionals using DVR and we almost never watch TV but we got hooked on Dollhouse. The dialogue is true to real life, even though the story is fantastic. There are no simple truisms or easy happy endings, it is a fictional show but about how real people might actually cope with this kind of experience. We thought the first few episodes were oversexed, but quickly warmed to the story behind the hook. I'm not sure how I'll make it through the summer, let alone a forever with no more Dollhouse. Please give it a chance! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2:See above. And unlike the person above me, I don't want closure, I want it to go on for at least a while!
Username:Roxyhulagirl Fave character:Echo | Reason to watch:Only show since Tru Calling that I watch religiously! Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I like Eliza Dushku. I loved watching Tru Calling and was sad when it got canceled. To me, it seems like all the shows that I like that have the same type of theme get canceled. I loved Dark Angel, Tru Calling, and now Dollhouse. The show keeps you on the edge of your chair and you always want more. Each week I am counting down the seconds till Dollhouse starts. My boyfriend and I watch it every week and really want it to continue! My parents even watch it every week! It is like you are a part of the story and you want to see it through. If Dollhouse ends then all of those who have been watching will feel incomplete. The story needs to continue! Plus, it is just an intriguing show that leaves you more interested each time.
Username: Arieanne Fave character: All of them! | Reason to watch: I love how every character has the ability to take on a new personality, and in doing so each actor portrays this new persona with amazing believability. It is such a refreshing show to watch, because you never know what type of person the 'clients' will pick, or what intellect the Dollhouse will need. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: Because this show is hands down one of the best shows I've watched in a long time (and I'm talking better than Heroes and Gossip Girls). The plot is intriguing and the characters keep you coming back for more. Beyond Buffy, I had never seen any Joss Whedon shows, but I definitely have to say he did an incredible job with this one!! Keep bringing Dollhouse back!!!
Username: wfleur Fave character: Adelle | Reason to watch: One of the only shows on tv that is offering innovative plots and characters with depth. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: There is so much left to the story! And I want this to be as full a series as possible so I can re-enjoy more of it when I buy the DVDs.
Username: DSeeley Fave character: Topher/Ivy | Reason to watch: It's the only good scifi on Friday's anymore! (Even SciFi has left me hanging!) Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: There is SO MUCH more story to tell!!!
Username: Aedan7 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: 1. I need to know why "They" deal in fantasy, but that is not their purpose. I NEED TO INVESTIGATE THEIR PURPOSE!!!! 2. The show is a quality production with good acting and scripts that pull you in and make you care about strangers in the most personal way. You are left constantly wondering about their well being. Always aware that the dolls entered this arrangement voluntarily. (How messed up were their lives that this was a good deal?) 3. The comment by the programmer that Echo is evolving. I want to see that. Now, of course she is getting some memory, but essentially she's dissociated from her old personality. Who is She ? PLEA TO FOX or who ever picks the show up next season: Please let Joss finish his story his way. He is the reason I'm watching your channel religously once a week. You should know that I only purposly watch 3 hours of TV a week (Dollhouse, Castle, The Tudors.) I have money. I buy products. Shotime doesn't sell much - but the sponsors have two chances to brainwash me into buying puppy chow for the dog I don't have. Help me help them. 4.Dollhouse needs to be renewed because Joss' series always get much better after the first season. Killing it now seems like taking an investment, and buying high, and selling low. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I love this show and want it to be complete. I want it to be wholly what Joss and the other writers actually intended it to be. I want to experience their vision and I can't really do that if I have to wait for books...that is their second choice. It can't convey their whole vision. (Or that is where they would have started.)
Username:Ringanybells3 Fave character: The ones Joss thought of. | Reason to watch: Joss Whedon. I've been a member of the Joss 'verse since '97. He has never failed to surprise me. And without any spoilers, the Briair Rose Episode just literally took my breath away. It's refreshing to watch a show without being able to guess what's going to happen. Everything else that is on nowadays, it's all so predictable. But Joss is consistently going for the twist (Case in point: BtVS fans- who saw Tara's death coming?) On top of his surprises, Joss's shows always have great dialogue and perfect delivery. I'm not ashamed to say that half of my own personal repitoire has come out of his scripts (I no longer curse in English). Look what Joss did for the WB. Look what his fans did with Firefly. Look at the amazing acceptance of Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Fox has a huge opportunity right here, i pray that they don't let it slip through their fingers. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: I can't go back to not having fresh Joss to watch every week. I'll go crazy.
Username:mims53 Fave character: Echo | Reason to watch: There are so many reasons to watch. Storylines are awesome. Acting is good and the show keeps me guessing. I love Joss Whedon. Why I *need* DollhouseSeason 2: I want to see where the show goes and want to know more about the corporation and what will happen to the dolls. I also love seeing the different engagements.
Username:Kimmortal Fave characters: Echo and Topher | Reason to watch: It's the only show I watch that moves me to tears without feeling manipulated into the crying. It's a show with a real heart. Why I *need* Dollhouse Season 2: It is the show I most look forward to every week.
Username: danis258 Fave characters: EVERYONE!! | Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: This show is amazing, well written, with an awesome cast, and an INCREDIBLE plot line that will always keep you on the edge of your seat... anything that Joss touches is gold!!!!!! I need the second season because I will die with out knowing how far this story line goes!!! DEAR FOX: PLEASE BRING DOLLHOUSE BACK FOR SEASON 2!!!!
Username: tramirez89 Fave characters: Topher, Echo | Reason to watch: Simply put: Dollhouse is amazing. Every episode, every character, every word and line is fantastic. The plot has kept me hooked since before I'd even watched the first episode! Every one since has kept me coming back and eager for more. I wish I was an active so i could just blank out during the week between episodes! Joss is a genius, his actors are wonderful, and everyone who works on this show has come together and made something awe-inspiring. So go. Be awed. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: Do I really need to add any more? I'm buying the first season as soon as it's available, and I damn well expect to be able to buy a few more seasons at LEAST to add to my movie shelf. Fox, please don't disappoint me again! This is a keeper!
Username: doll_oscar Fave characters: Claire (and Adelle, and November, and Boyd...) | Reason to watch: It is the most original show and the best one I currently watch on air right now. Joss has once again assembled a stellar cast to fill a unique universe and the show has simply progressed from strength to strength and found its feet. The creative story, the talented cast, an incomparable written voice, shocking twists and turns and, of course, the breath-takingly beautiful sets are all perfectly in place and I truly hope that it can continue for years to come - I will certainly be along for the ride. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: As above - Basically it is the best show I currently watch and it has legs to run and run. The story needs to be told and it needs time to really do it well. Dollhouse is not broken, please don't wipe it!
Username: Fave characters: | Reason to watch: Two words: Joss Whedon. Every Whedonite knows that Joss's sereies follow a certain pattern, and in order for that pattern to work, he needs time. Hopefully Fox won't make the same mistake with this show that they did with Firefly. Everything that Joss creates is unique, full of imagination, complex layers, insightful character studies, strong story lines, action, and a healthy dose of humor. This show started out looking deceptively like a "normal" world scenario with a bit of stretching the boundaries. It was very clear after only a few episodes that Joss had much much more in store for his fans. Interwoven storylines and revealing surprise details has kept me on the edge of my seat all season. This storyline has the potential to cary through several years of fascinating encounters, thrilling action, and riveting character developement. I can't wait to see what happens to all of the separate characters, the hints of their terrible personal pasts and what unthinkable situations they have to survive to stay in the Dollhouse. And to think... this is only one of 20 or so! Please, Please, Please do not kill this thing before it has a chance to be a series worthy of TV history.
Username: AArgh Fave characters: | Reason to watch: It was about time someone wrote a show about what it feels like to be a woman in a man's world. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2:
Username:TerryRB Fave characters: Topher, Boyd, Adelle DeWit | Reason to watch: Every time I decide a character is not to interesting Joss Whedon and his wonderful writers surprise me by making the character interesting and likeable. So far, the count of characters about whom I've changed my mind as I watched the show more are: Boyd, Dominic, Sierra, DeWit, Victor, Mellie/November, and to a degree Ballard (Paul's still got a way to go, but he's Tahmoh Penikett so in the meantime, I'll just stare at his very pretty physique :). Why I need Dollhouse Season 2:Because in addition to all the wonderful storylines being woven together by Joss and his writing crew, I think I'll go nuts if I don't get to see how Topher and Saunder's relationship develops (I'm not talking romantically here. I could care less about that, but it's bound to be more interesting.)
Username: intkaes Fave characters: Echo, Paul | Reason to watch: Because the second half of the season was F***** AWESOME!!!!!!! After a few first episodes I was thinking about stop watching this show, but I gave Dollhouse a chance and it rocks my world completely. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: Because I'm a Dollhouse addict and I need my dose of fresh episode every week. :P
Username: ianswe Fave characters: Echo, Whiskey, Adele | Reason to watch: Dollhouse is such a refreshing show that always keeps you guessing. I have to agree with some other people that the season started off slow, but it was worth the wait for the last 2/3s of the season! I started watching the show and then I introduced it to my friend, lets just say that we have bets every episode as to what happens and who will turn out to be someone else (ie a Doll). It blows my mind on a regular occasion! Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: I need to find out what happens to Echo, Whiskey, and of course Alpha (lol, when the 'environmentalist' turned out to be Alpha!, it totally caught me by surprise and that hasn't happened for a long time!) There hasn't been a show like Dollhouse that has kept my attention as it has. I really hope that the show will be renewed for another season - that is all I am asking, renew it for next season and see how it does. I don't want it ending up like Family Guy. Maybe they should try a different time slot - on Fridays, people go out and don't watch a lot of TV - put it on Sun-Thurs and I bet it will pull in so many more consistant viewers.
Username:trixatonic Fave characters: Echo,Ballard | Reason to watch: Dollhouse is everything I could ask for in a show. Humor, drama, action... it doesn't try to be something it isn't and thus... it's perfection. A lot of shows these days try and try and they never get it right. I have other favorite shows and I am willing to admit that a severe flaw in every single one of them is inconsistency from week to week. With Dollhouse, I know that every week Joss is going to deliver solid gold to my TV screen. There was not one episode this season that I felt was a waste of my time. There wasn't a moment where I could tear my eyes away from the screen. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: I need a Dollhouse, Season 2. I need to know more. Besides the fact that I have a million unanswered questions, I care about these characters. I want to watch more of them. I don't normally watch a show until after at least the second or third season because of fear it won't get picked up after the first season. I broke my rule because I couldn't resist the temptation of this show. I believe Joss can deliver another classic. If given the chance I strongly believe Dollhouse has the potential to outshine Buffy the Vampire Slayer. These are strong words coming from a HUGE Btvs fan but that is how much faith I have in this show. Fox needs to stay with this and allow for the already great following to grow. And I promise it will. As I mentioned earlier, I'm the type of person to only watch aged shows. I guarantee you I'm not the only one. I guarantee that more people will follow after seeing this show has pushed past the pilot season woes.
Username: Elke Octavia Fave characters: Sierra, Victor, Alpha | Reason to watch: This show is possibly the most flexible and versitile of all the shows currently gracing our screens, without ever compromising on continuity. Every episode has it's chance to be it's own mini story, and yet contributes to the season as a whole. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: What will happen to the now scarred Victor? Will Sierra ever develope like Echo? She seems to be drawn to the other doll, much like Alpha was, is there a reason for this? Alpha is still on the loose, Saunders knows she's a doll, Ballard works for the Dollhouse, there is simply TOO MUCH that can be used for a second season for them not to. Plus the series is just going to air in England, and I have high hopes that English fans will help boost the rating ^_^
Username: Dollbait New Fave characters: Sierra! Paul, Adelle. Boyd, Topher, Claire. | Reason to watch: Dichen Lachman rules! I make no secret of that. Joss Whedon at the helm. The writers. Tim Minear, Jed Whedon, Maruissa Tancha Tancharoen, Andrew Chambliss, Tracy Bellomo, Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain. Tim Minear. The actors top notch. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: Omega obviously left us hanging with so many sub-plots intertwined with each other. Paul allying himself with Adelle and Boyd, having investigative skills Adelle will find quite handy. Adelle showing some integrity releasing Madeline and trust towards Ballard. Claire not only discovering she was a broken doll but allowed to keep that discovery. Her relationship with Topher, who now has to wrestle with a conscience. Echo self-aware. Alpha still loose. Victor's role perhaps changing. And Sierra! I love movies and shows with women that kick ass. Adelle is another. Absolute bad ass. Both have sexy accents.
Username: Krevlornswath Fave characters: Echo, Ballard, Alpha, Sierra | Reason to watch: Are you kidding me? Here we are again knee deep in this Whedon created world, just beginning to find out about all these characters intricacies and nuances, discovering who stands where, and what will lead to what... I am no critic, but I watch A LOT of television shows, and I'd have to rank this among the most exciting and visually stunning. Oh yeah - its also got some of the best writing on television and the cast isn't exactly hard to look at. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: Because its the only show that I watch religiously. With Mutant Enemies writing and the current cast of characters I think that it has major viewership potential, especially if it can get out of Friday night hell.
Username:dollfan3000 Fave characters: all | Reason to watch:This is one of the best Sci Fi shows on TV today now that Battlestar Galactica is off the air. Fox needs to realize that there are intelligent viewers out there that enjoy a good, well written story with great actors. Reality shows are no longer the future. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: I want to know who programmed the dolls to talk to Ballard. I want to know how the dollhouse came about and how everyone ended up working there. I want to know more about Topher and who the friend was that he downloaded into Sierra. I want to know about the other Dollhouses and who is ultimately in charge.
Username:Laurlcrown Fave characters: Topher | Reason to watch:Dollhouse has one of THE freshest premises on broadcast TV in the past several seasons. Any one of its characters provides rich ground for intriguing story arcs, and the writing -- from the dialog to the paced unfolding of the central plotline -- is unusually daring and smart. Why I need Dollhouse Season 2: Let's face it: None of us "needs" any entertainment serial. But I will say this: Dollhouse is the only broadcast show in 10 years I've felt has been worth my time. I'm a current graduate teaching assistant at a Canadian school of theology, and with regard to my own interests, Dollhouse promises great artistic discussion around what makes us human, agency, personal ethics, the limits of science and the place of unspoken faith in our lives. There are SO many stories to tell with this series. I'd hope FOX would not forgo that.
Username: raeraerae Fave character: Topher | Reason to watch: joss is a sneaky sneaky clever man! enjoy a show where the characters can change at any time. even without the imprint chair. its incredible writing, where every week you realise things arent as they seem and joss has just unveiled another batch of creative awesomeness. Why i need DH season 2: because its the only show nowadays that gets me actually thinking! i hate watching mind numbing tv! theres a huge audience out there crying out for something with a bit of depth and here it is!! bring on series 2!!

Dollhouse is an incredibly great, cool and new show. I have never seen anything like this show which makes it soooooo unique. I love the dollhouse and i spend my friday nights watching this incredible show. I have heard rumors that Dollhouse may not be returning for a second season. We have the power to change this, if you really love Dollhouse like i do and u love Eliza Dushku then we need to make sure there is a second season. Dollhouse is only in its first season so we can really expect the best ratings, if there is a second season we can persuade people to watch it and bring in more viewers. I feel lik this shows is starting off as the way Buffy The Vampire Slayer did, began mid-season with not so high ratings, returned for a second season to score amazing ratings, this is what Dollhouse needs and we have to make it happen. So all members of this site and fans of dollhouse please try to contact FOX and tell them Dollhouse just needs time to create the best show and bring in more viewers! post comments!

The reason why I need dollhouse and everyone else needs dollhouse is because there isn’t another good science fiction TV show out there that is that good. Dollhouse brings a new concept to brainwashing a person, to money, to having whatever you want without consequences. Dollhouse is a refreshing show, there’s meaning behind this show, and this show gives you a view of what if this is real, what if this is happening or what if this is the future of mankind. This show has a base that most shows don’t even dream about having. Eliza Dushku plays a very convincing role are echo, and everyone else is so thrilling to watch. Joss Whedon has done amazing works, like buffy the vampire slayer, Angel, serenity etc. dollhouse season 2 has to be made because we need to explore more from this thrilling show.
