The existence of the copy and backup copy of Caroline's persona would seem to indicate that the Dollhouse plans to make good on its promise to release them, but how much of the "final" supposedly "original" imprint is really going to be "the original", considering the security risk they inherently pose to the Dollhouse and Rossum? Exactly how ominously, mind-trippingly creepy and existential is Joss going to go with this one?

Echo/Caroline clearly hates bullies, and in her Doll state she doesn't realize that the Dollhouse is just using and abusing her; yet Topher, being such a huge and insufferable geek, HAD to have been picked on and we know from the birthday incident that he's fairly lonely. So, does this mean Topher will grow a conscience thanks to Echo, or at least feel a connection/feel bad for her? Not even necessarily in a romantic sense, just in general, as a friend of a very odd sort? If this does happen, how would "Caroline" react to it? Or Topher or Adelle or anyone else for that matter?

Now i am kind of a wrighter not a pro but if i was the ont that wrote doolhouse i would put that up in there. Even though 5 years have passed, as Dewitt says, "It will seem like an instant to you," meaning Caroline. If November/Millie/Madeline had all of this grief for her daughter and Echo/Caroline couldn't handle it because her actions had gotten her boyfriend killed, what possible reason could they have to sign this contract? The moment their contact is up, their memories up to the point of sitting in the chair for the first time will be restored to them. Their grief will be as palpable as it was when they stored the memories. Nothing at all will have changed except that they will be five years older, have some money, and be in exactly the same boat they were in when they signed the contract. We know that all Sam from Episode 7 wants is money, so his signing the contract is to his benefit. But anyone with an emotional issue won't be helped one whit. I hope Joss explains this in more detail in season 2.
